There are many points of interest in The Elder Scrolls Online that you can discover throughout each zone. Along with delves, world bosses, and cities, you'll also encounter one or two Public Dungeons per area. Public Dungeons contain many important things, including a unique quest that fits the location.

The Spire Of The Crimson Coin is one of the two new Public Dungeons added to The Elder Scrolls Online in the High Isle chapter. There are many things you should know about the Spire Of The Crimson Coin, especially if you want to unlock each of the achievements and collectibles within it.

Where To Find The Spire Of The Crimson Coin

You'll encounter the Spire Of The Crimson Coin on the eastern coast of High Isle's main island. The location is on the map above. This place appears as a large castle, so it's hard to miss when you're walking past it.

Blood, Books, And Steel Walkthrough

Travel to the Spire Of The Crimson Coin by following the instructions above. After you're there, you'll encounter a character named Squire Rayan near the entrance to the Public Dungeon. He'll ask you to walk inside and help find Dame Madach. Dame Madach won't be far from the entrance, so follow your quest marker to her general location and speak to her.

After speaking to Dame Madach and Squire Rayan, they'll explain that you need to destroy the heart of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin. Travel to the garden area and into the statuary hall, which is in the northwest section of the interior. Inside the statuary hall, you can collect the Bone Femur from a table in the small room. Cassel isn't very strong, and you can easily win the fight by yourself.

You now need to leave the statuary hall and travel east inside the dungeon until you reach the prison warrens. Follow your quest marker into the prison warrens and to an Executioner's Block, which you need to collect to progress. Now that you have this item, leave the prison area and head to the water mill, which is southeast of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin.

There are a few enemy Coagulants nearby, but they're not bosses.

Upon following your quest marker south to the water mill, interact with the highlighted lever to fix the mill. The level is waterside on a wooden platform. Now travel to the blacksmith shop with the quest marker, southwest inside the Spire Of The Crimson Coin.

Use the Workbench inside the shop to create the Bone Hammer, then interact with the nearby Blacksmith's Quench to finish it. You can now talk to Squire Rayan, although it's an optional objective.

Follow your quest marker to the Spire Of The Crimson Coin's large tower on the far eastern side of the interior. Upon defeating a few Crimson Lurkers and Coagulants, travel north and through the doorway, then walk up the stairs. There's a door leading to the lower sanctum at the top of the stairs, so interact with it to continue.

You'll encounter Bloodmage Cassel, who'll want to talk to you. This way, you'll find out that Dame Madach already fought it, but lost the fight. She is about to die, but you can speak to her about the fight. Upon the short conversation ends, you can walk east to find a door leading to another staircase, which leads to the upper sanctum.

Inside the upper sanctum, you need to destroy the Phylactery on the west side of the room to defeat Bloodmage Cassel. He's also in the room as an enemy, but you can sneak past by moving along the left-hand side's wall without any special potions or skills.

Luckily, Bloodmage Cassel is much weaker than other bosses in the Spire Of The Crimson Coin. If you decide to fight the boss, then you'll have to roll dodge his ranged attacks as he casts them. Additionally, Bloodmage Cassel can spawn Bound Hemopteras, so you should focus on them as they spawn — unless you have enough single-target damage to deplete Bloodmage Cassel's health quickly. This boss also quickly teleports around the room, so try to watch him closely.

Interact with the Phylactery, then your objective is complete. Then, leave through the trapdoor west of the Phylactery to exit the tower. You can use the boat at the western bottom side of the exterior stairs to fast travel to Squire Rayan.

You can now leave the Spire Of The Crimson Coin and speak to Squire Rayan after the loading screen. After thanking you, Squire Rayan will gift you the Crimson Coin Hammer memento, which is a collectible that you can use similarly to an emote.

Where To Find Every Boss In The Spire Of The Crimson Coin

There are six bosses to fight within the Spire Of The Crimson Coin. Each boss will drop assorted pieces of loot that you can sell to a merchant, along with gloves, shoulders, or a weapon from one of the item sets in the High Isle zone. As such, it's worth farming the following bosses for the Blessing Of High Isle, Systres' Scowl, and the Steadfast's Mettle item sets.

Mouz The Unclean

Mouz The Unclean spawns Harpies, but you can avoid them and focus on defeating the boss quickly instead. Since Mouz can deal long-range attacks, you can walk up to this boss without fear of extra damage, since its moves will hit you either way. Mouz The Unclean is directly north of the center of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin.

Shambleback

Shambleback spawns poison on the battleground, so you'll need to dodge its attack to avoid taking massive damage. You'll encounter Shambleback in the north-eastern corner of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin.

Chillspine

Chillspine is one of the most dangerous bosses in the Spire Of The Crimson Coin because it can spawn an icy tornado that loops around the battlefield, as well as spawn an ice pillar right under your feet, so you need to be watching the ground for the pillar at all times. Chillspine is in the south-eastern section of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin.

The Crimson Apprentice

When The Crimson Apprentice starts charging an attack, bash the boss, and you can then deal damage. Additionally, make sure to focus on defeating the Blood Pillars whenever they spawn before focusing on the enemy. The Crimson Apprentice resides at the eastern-most corner of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin's interior.

The Blighted Carapace

The Blighted Carapace is quite powerful. However, its moveset is limited, consisting primarily of a heavy attack. If you roll dodge The Blighted Carapace's attack as it swings, then this fight is easy to win. You'll find this boss in the south-western area of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin.

The Crimson Mother

Although all of the previous boss battles in the Spire Of The Crimson Coin aren't too difficult to defeat by yourself, the Crimson Mother is a group event that you should only attempt alone if you have a build that's strong enough to solo world bosses. You can find the Crimson Mother through an entrance directly north of the middle of the Spire Of The Crimson Coin. The entrance is on the map above.

The Crimson Mother deals a lot of damage and can even stun you if you let your guard down. You'll see attacks on the battlefield that appear red, make sure to roll dodge out of them as they spawn, otherwise they'll explode for massive damage.

How To Collect The Skyshard In The Spire Of The Crimson Coin

There's one Skyshard to collect inside the Spire Of The Crimson Coin. Travel to the eastern side of the dungeon, then enter the maze. The Skyshard is next to a decorative fountain inside the maze, up against the hedges. You'll find the exact location of the Skyshard on the map above.

How To Unlock Coral Haj Mota Decoys

You need 25 Haj Mota Decoys, along with 25 Haj Mota Lures, to craft the Coral Haj Mota pet collectible in ESO. You can earn Coral Haj Mota Decoys within the Spire Of The Crimson Coin by defeating the enemies inside it. It's possible to get an unlimited amount of Coral Haj Mota Decoys, so farming these items to sell to other players is a good way to earn Gold.

The easiest way to collect a lot of the Coral Haj Mota Decoys is to pull many weak enemies together and defeat them using area-of-effect attacks, so don't bother fighting bosses if you're farming Coral Haj Mota Decoys.

How To Unlock Every Achievement In The Spire Of The Crimson Coin

Achievements offer a method to track your progress throughout The Elder Scrolls Online. Every player has a counter that tracks their overall achievement points, since each achievement grants a unique amount of points once you unlock it. There are only two achievements you can earn in the Spire Of The Crimson Coin, but you should still know how to unlock them if you're a completionist.
