Bethesda is giving all Elder Scrolls Online players a glimpse into the wonderful world of ESO Plus. Typically $14.99, you can try the service out for free until October 19, providing you with access to all DLC packs, a crafting bag with unlimited storage, double bank space, and a whole lot more.

The great part of the promotion is that there's no need to sign up with a credit card – just create an account, navigate to the Crown Store, and activate the in-game offer. Once October 19 rolls around you'll be kicked back to a non-subscriber unless you decide to enter in your payment info and take advantage of the service.

The Elder Scrolls Online runs promotions like this at pretty frequent intervals, hoping to drum up interest in the paid subscription service. All told it's a pretty generous offer. Over 15 DLC packs are now included in ESO Plus, along with tons of in-game features that make your life in Tamriel much easier. One of the only benefits you won't see during your time as a free member is the monthly crown stipend. If you become a paying member of ESO Plus, you'll be given 1650 crowns every month, which can be used to buy premium gear on the Crown Store.

Here's a full rundown of everything that comes with an ESO Plus subscription:

  • Access to all DLC packs
  • Unlimited storage for crafting materials
  • 1650 crowns per month
  • Double bank space
  • 10% increase to Gold and Experience gain
  • 10% to Crafting Inspiration and Trait Research
  • Double Furnishings and Collectibles space in your house
  • Costume dyeing
  • Double currency cap for Transmutation Crystals
  • Exclusive deals in the Crown Store

All told, that's a decent amount of content. The crafting bag is particularly useful, letting you go out and gather item without the need to run back and bank the components when your inventory is full. If you're on the fence about the serve, make sure to sign in between now and October 19 to see what ESO Plus is all about.

While it may have started out a bit rough, there's no doubt Elder Scrolls Online is on the right track. This August Bethesda released the Stonethrone DLC pack, bringing a bunch of new quests and rewards to the popular title. The next update, Markarth, is scheduled to release in November.
