The Kingdom Hearts series is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 10, just a few weeks away. What games specifically, you ask? Well, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 and Re Mind. The first is priced at $39.99 with the second two at $49.99 each. You can also get all of them bundled together for $89.99.This series is a nostalgic favourite for many, and the idea of playing it anywhere must be appealing. However, the series is a bit too large and too graphically demanding for the Switch, so to ensure the visuals aren't compromised, it's the cloud versions of the games that are coming to Nintendo's portable platform. Weird, I thought the protagonist was called Sora.RELATED: Imagine If Kingdom Hearts Was Actually GoodIn case you've forgotten which games are included in those numbers (don't worry, it's a lot) then here's each one in what I think is a proper order of play: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, Re:coded, Dream Drop Distance HD, X Back Cover, 0.2 Birth by Sleep - A fragmentary passage, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Re Mind.

Although that's a lot of games with a large amount of beloved characters, the price tag is quite steep considering these games will only be playable for as long as you have a solid internet connection.

This also means that if Nintendo ever abandons its cloud project, these games will be completely useless and unplayable. This makes the purchase a risky move for everyone, but especially people who live in regions where a constant internet connection isn't possible. Our hopes and dreams of reliving these classic stories in the park or at the beach have been dashed.
