The Last of Us Part 1 is set to launch on September 2, and we've just seen seven minutes of gameplay from Bill's Town - a section of the game where Joel, Ellie, and his old friend Bill have to traverse an infected town filled with booby traps.

The video shows off the smooth framerate - a 120fps mode that was leaked recently - and some nice lens flare as Joel crouches towards a group of infected. Water in puddles also reflects the surroundings

The combat is what you'd expect of a Last of Us gameplay demo. A lot of showing off the tools on display with several bombs and molotovs used to clear out small groups of enemies in and around a high school - resources most players always hoard for a rainy day.

Joel stomping, shooting, and punching enemies still looks great, but beyond that it doesn't seem like any of the actual gameplay has been changed. It all looks as staff at TheGamer remember the Remaster did.

One thing to note is that the listen mode available to Joel used to locate hidden enemies is conspicuously absent in this gameplay demo. Watch the full video above and see if you can spot any differences.

In other Last of Us news, the full suite of accessibility options available in The Last of Us Part 1 has been revealed - and they're extensive. These options have taken everything from The Last of Us Part 2's already impressive array and built on them to make the game playable by more people than ever before. Even if you aren't a fan of the visuals or supposed gameplay improvements, the accessibility options do make a strong case for remakes - or at the very least, accessibility updates and initial inclusion in games.

The sold-out Firefly Edition is also getting more stock and may even be coming to Europe. This version of the game ran for $99.99 and contains a limited edition steelbook, a collection containing the American Dreams comics, and early unlocks for several in-game items.
