You know The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, right? Possibly the best open world game ever made? Yeah, you know the one, with that guy called Link and with the ridiculously detailed physics engine. Well that physics engine not only lets you perform some satisfying maneuvers in the game, but also allows you to go overboard at times. Just think of all the things you could do with a really powerful magnet and the ability to store kinetic energy in objects!

Well that engine has given rise to some impressive feats since players wrapped their heads around it. You’d see players launching boulders from afar to knock out Guardians, tossing metal weapons at Bokoblins during a lightning storm and letting nature do the rest, and a whole bunch of ludicrous stuff.

But sometimes, you don’t really need the Runes to perform something spectacular. Take this video by Twitter user @smaho_neko for instance. They don’t use Stasis, Magnesis, or any of the other runes, just a bow, arrow, shield, and the glider. The video shows Link jumping off a tower located in what looks like Hyrule Field. He flips his shield to snowboard mode in mid-air and lands atop a Bokoblin; this allows him to propel a huge distance across the map.

Once again, in mid-air, he lets fly an ancient arrow into the seemingly empty sky. But he opens up his glider and continues to track the path of the arrow, which now looks like a comet in the distance. Towards the end of the video, we see the arrow losing its flight and landing square on a Guardian, causing it to explode. Of course, @smaho_neko continues to glide and doesn’t even look back after sniping that Guardian from a distance of 1400 meters. Quite a boss move if you ask me.

While I’m not quite sure just how they knew where to aim and when to fire, it looked like they did perform some adjustments before jumping off the tower; notice the backflip and the axe swings just before the jump. @smaho_neko’s Twitter account is filled with various trick shots and feats from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
