The Spring of Courage is one of four Springs in The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with huge altars to the goddess Hylia. Some players point out that it looks very similar to the Skyview Spring from Skyward Sword! There are a couple of different reasons that you might be tracking down this Spring but, whatever your motives, we have all the answers you seek. This guide will detail the location of the Spring of Courage, how to get there, and what you can do once you arrive.
Where Is The Spring Of Courage?
The Spring of Courage is located northeast of the Lake Tower in southern Hyrule. It's marked by the arrow on the map above! To reach it, you'll need to start in the south and follow the Dracozu River north.
As you go, you'll need to fight off tons of lizalfos and a moblin before finally reaching the Spring. We recommend that you bring rubber gear with you for the lightning protection. If you don't have the Rubber equipment yet, check out our guide on how to obtain it!
What Is The Spring Of Courage For?
A quest, called The Serpent's Jaws, given to the player by Kass, leads them to this location. The Spring Of Courage is hiding the Shae Katha Shrine.
To access the Shrine and complete the quest (if you have it), you'll need to make an offering to Hylia: a scale from Farosh. TheGamer has a detailed guide on how to hunt Farosh for his horns, which you can use as a way to get started on this challenge, should you choose.
