The vast array of these bite-sized puzzles leaves no stone unturned when it comes to utilizing all of Link's incredible powers. The solutions are often simple but require you to think about the capabilities of your powers, and how they can be put to creative use.

Where is Mayamats Shrine?

  • Coordinates: -4637, -1414, 0452

The Mayamats Shrine can be found in the western portion of Hyrule in the Gerudo Highlands.

Your best bet is to use the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower to launch yourself up and paraglide southwest to the shrine's location.

Mayamats Shrine Solution

Link enters the Mayamats Shrine Interior in Tears of the Kingdom.

As you enter the shrine, its header, A Route For A Ball will appear, so it's no surprise that this shrine will feature a puzzle where you must bring a ball to its receptacle.

As you enter, take note of your surroundings:

  • The exit gate is directly in front of you.
  • A ball receptacle is on your left.
  • A long hallway with an upward wind draft is past where the ball goes.

For now, ignore the receptacle and the exit gate; instead, ride the wind draft up to the next area of the shrine.

Puzzle Area

Link sees the big ball in Mayamats Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

As you land in the following area survey your surroundings once more:

  • In front of you is the shrine chest.
  • To your left is a giant ball on a raised platform.
  • To your right is a wall with an impression in it, perfect for the giant ball.

Firstly, you should make your way to the platform with the ball on the left. Ascend using the overhang to get to the ball.

Use Ultrahand to bring the ball over to the center area where the chest is located.

Place the ball near the chest and climb it to reach the platform and claim your reward: a Large Zonai Charge.

Link places the big ball in the Mayamats Shrine to claim the Reward Chest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Once you've opened the chest, bring the ball over to the wall with the impression to the right.

Place the ball in the funnel-like area until it is wedged. Use Ascend once more to rise through the ball and reach the upper platform where the final ball is located.

Link places a large ball in Mayamats Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

This next area features a ball rolling quickly along a rail and flying off into the ether. This ball is the one you need for the starting area's receptacle.

Approach the edge and wait for the ball to roll out, then use Recall on the ball so that it loses momentum and falls on the rail leading to you.

The timing is tricky, but using Recall just before or just after the ball crosses over the hole should cause it to lose momentum and fall perfectly.

With the second ball in hand, take it and attach it to the larger ball, and bring both of them over to the first rail you saw near the wind draft.

Link attaches the big and small ball in Mayamats Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

You need the larger ball on the rail so that the smaller one can be rolled down to the starting area.

Once they have reached the beginning, paraglide back across the gap and detach the smaller ball by wiggling your thumbstick.

After the ball returns to its receptacle, the exit gate will open and you can claim your reward.
