If you’re into The Sims 4, you know that Spa Day is one of the fun ways to have your Sims relax. Coming in just a few days on September 7, Spa Day is getting a “refresh,” which means there will be new features for you to take advantage of. On The Sims’ official site, it’s explained that a refresh simply means that they will be adding features to the core theme. In other words, if you already have the Spa Pack, these add-ons will be free.

The following is a breakdown of what the original Spa Day Pack included, followed by what will be upgraded and added on September 7.

Original Spa Day Pack:

  • You have the opportunity to visit the spa to allow your most stressed Sims to relax. This includes pre-built locations, opportunity to build your own, or the option to take the spa amenities back home with you.
  • A new wellness skill has been introduced, which you can level up through yoga and meditation at the spa. As these skills improve, your Sims will be able to learn how to teleport and levitate.
  • Sims can now both give and receive treatments that have a whole range of benefits. These treatments include relaxing in a mud bath, roasting in the sauna, and more.
  • There are new casual loungewear and hairstyle options available.

Refresh Spa Day Features (in addition to original):

  • A new trait will be included. High Maintenance Sims will struggle with simple tasks, but the spa can alleviate their stress.
  • Kids will now be able to participate in wellness activities. You can also earn extra Simoleons by teaching mindfulness to other Sims. With practice, you can now become either a Zen Guru or a Self-Care Specialist too.
  • Manicures, pedicures, and facial masks are all included. The new aspiration will encourage Sims seeking Inner Peace to pamper themselves even more.
  • There will now be new nail designs, colors, and shapes included.
