A recent Tweet suggests that a University Life expansion pack may be coming to The Sims 4 very soon.
Fans have speculated that a long-awaited expansion pack for The Sims 4 may have officially been confirmed this week after rapper Beau Young Prince tweeted a cryptic reply to one of his tweets. A few weeks ago on August 30, Beau tweeted a video of him in a recording studio with the caption, "Working on something big with the SIMS game." The video showed the artist recording his song in what appeared to be simlish, the official language of The Sims games. Many fans replied to his tweet hypothesizing that the song would be featured in a university pack for the game. Yesterday on September 12, Beau replied to the original tweet with the vague message, "You guys guessed it right" followed by an "shh" emoji.

Though the reply is ambiguous, Sims fans have taken Beau's reply as an unofficial confirmation that a University Life pack for The Sims 4 is both in the works and on the way.
Sims fan and YouTuber Pixelade, who has made numerous videos speculating that University Life is coming to The Sims 4 for some time now, made a new video yesterday compiling all his evidence for this upcoming expansion pack. In addition to Beau's tweet, Pixelade also points out how Quarter 4 is the most lucrative season when it comes to video game sales and EA would be remiss to not take advantage of releasing a new expansion pack - especially a much-anticipated pack - during the upcoming holiday season.
Additionally, since The Sims 4 was released in fall 2014, EA has a history of releasing big expansion packs every November, with the release of Get Famous, Cats and Dogs, City Living, and Get Together in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 respectively. By this logic, EA is due for another big release in just a few months - and the evidence points to the release of the University Life expansion pack.
While this news is exciting for Sims fans, it's important to remember that all of this is speculation. Until EA confirms anything, all we can do is hope and pray for the chance to send our Sims to university.
