Netflix previously told us that The Witcher Season 2 would be arriving in the second half of 2021, but they didn't say when. Now it seems like that might be the first half of the second half of 2021 because Netflix's Twitter account just gave us an interesting new teaser.

Geralt and Ciri are back to back in this poster, which is unsurprising given the two finally met at the end of Season 1. It's expected that Season 2 will mostly deal with Ciri's training to become a Witcher herself.

The surprise comes at the bottom with just two words: "coming soon."

If Netflix is going to elaborate on that at all, it will likely happen during Geeked Week, which starts next week. From June 7 to June 11, Netflix will make announcements for their geekier upcoming shows, including The Cuphead Show, The Sandman, and the new Masters of the Universe: Revelation. There will also be news for fan favorites such as Lucifer, The Umbrella Academy, and of course, The Witcher.

Netflix has been largely tight-lipped for what's to come in Season 2, but we know from set photos that The Wild Hunt is likely to make an appearance and the show won't be quite as hard to follow as the first season. Many episodes appeared out of chronological order in Season 1, and Netflix has said that Season 2 will be a bit friendlier to casual viewers unfamiliar with the books or games.
