This week saw the return of Shroud to CS:GO, top-level players discussing how Riot GamesVALORANT will impact their game, and the ongoing 11th Season of the ESL Pro League.

Shroud was eagerly welcomed back by fellow players and stream viewers after having spent most of March playing Call of Duty: Warzone. Speaking about the move back to CS:GO, Shroud did not mince words to both admire and poke fun at Warzone, “It’s just cause it is so difficult. The people who appreciate this game are the people who are actually quite solid at it, or they’ve been playing it for a long time.”

The news should come as no surprise, as Shroud described often why Warzone was enjoyable, but only for a short stint, due to Call of Duty releasing a “new” game each year, and the overpower vehicle mechanics.

Meanwhile, top players in CS:GO like Richard "shox" Papillon discussed how VALORANT has made a positive impression on him and fellow players, but he doubts that any top players will transition over. Instead, players who struggle to reach to the top of the CS:GO ranks might move over to gain an early competitive advantage.

Finally, Season 11 of the ESL Pro League continues this week on April 8-9, with the playoffs taking place on April 11-12. Players can click here for the full schedule and to watch the action as it unfolds.
