A New Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Might Be In Development

It’s been reported that a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game could be in development. This came to light after a new web page celebrating Pokemon Day went live, including details for “Spike Chunsoft” in the page’s metadata.

This $420 Pokemon Wailord Plush Is One-Tenth The Size Of The Real Thing, Still Massive

Getting a Pokemon plush that’s one-tenth the size of the real thing doesn’t sound that impressive. But when you’re talking about a giant like Wailord, that’s still huge. That’s right, the Pokemon Company is selling what must be its biggest Pokemon plush yet, in the form of a Wailord worth $420.

Now, that’s a lot of money to throw at an oversized cushion, but I think we’d all be lying if we said we weren’t interested. I’ve had to talk myself down from it about ten times this afternoon alone. Pre-orders are being accepted until March 13, with the plushes sent out around early November. Yeah, you try explaining that one to the delivery company. I mean, worth it though, right?

Pokemon Anime's Roy Is From Kanto And He's Got A Mysterious New Pokeball

Liko is the star of the new Pokemon anime, but like Ash before her, she’s travelling with a pal. This week, we got more info on her friend Roy, revealing that he’s from Kanto. This is despite the series being said to take place in Scarlet & Violet’s Paldea, although this will be a nice throwback for fans of the older games.

Fans also spotted Roy sporting a mysterious Poke Ball - one that we’ve never seen in the games or anime before. It must have some kind of significance behind it, given its unique design. But right now, it’s anyone’s guess why Roy has this in his possession. Since he’s from Kanto, it could have something to do with Ash.

Scarlet & Violet Patch Will Lower Wild Pokemon Density In Certain Areas

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s performance still isn’t great, to say the least. From frame rate drops to game crashes, the game is prone to falling apart with little warning. And finally, we have an update looking to address this - even if it does come at a cost.

According to Nintendo, the latest patch will go live “near the end of February”, and will reduce the amount of Pokemon in areas of the wild. This will seemingly only be done in areas that have been problematic for players, but it’s still a slightly disappointing fix to be put in place. On top of this, the patch notes say that some towns may feature fewer people - as if the game was bustling with life before this.
