Corinne from the YouTube channel Threadbanger started streaming with her brother, Sky, not long after her husband Rob's heart stopped in the middle of the night. Corinne and Rob have been on a recent journey of recovery since the incident. Corinne released a website a few days ago to support her and Sky’s streams and keep herself busy with friends and family.

A couple months ago, Rob was diagnosed with granulomatosis with polyangiitis, a rare autoimmune disorder, and woke Corinne one night with a heart attack. His heart and breathing stopped but Corinne and paramedics were able to start it again. He was in the hospital for a month before he was able to go home and begin physical and mental therapy sessions.

Since the scare the couple has been taking time off from posting videos. Once they were comfortable making content again, Corinne added streaming once a week to the content list. Corinne and Sky stream on YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer while using their website to take suggestions from viewers on what they should play next. So far they’ve played a few Nintendo and Jackbox party games. The full videos are up on their YouTube channel. They are also raising $10,000 which if reached, Rob will give Corinne and Sky bowl hair cuts live.

Sky hasn’t participated in the YouTube channel until the streams. Corinne combined their love of gaming and pasta with her recovery and videos. She has been reaching outside of therapy to recover with activities such as shopping and cooking. Most recently, she made rainbow colored pasta from scratch and ate it on stream while playing. From the few episodes made, the theme seems to be Corinne cooking pasta and eating it with whoever’s playing with her and Sky while they game.

Threadbanger have gone through a difficult event that many would see as important to share. It’s a good way to connect with their audience as well as heal mentally along with any viewers who are also going through a hard time. Hopefully they can find an additional audience to have fun with and support them.
