First it was DrLupo, and now it's TimTheTatman to take up YouTube on its kind offer to stream exclusively for Google's game streaming platform.

Tim Betar made the announcement today on his Twitter account in a cutesy video where he detailed his career before he became a professional gamer. Then with the help of fellow YouTube convert CouRage, Tim announced his exclusive streaming deal would start on September 2.

Much like DrLupo, TimTheTatman said that it was a better work-life balance that influenced his decision to leave. “When I started, I had no family obligations and I could [stream] a lot of hours," Tim told Business Insider in an interview. "The reality is, now that I've got my wife and my son, it's hard for me to stream as much as I did beforehand."

TimTheTatman joins DrLupo, who made a similar announcement earlier this week, as well as Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter.

Twitch, surprisingly, seems all for Tim's move to YouTube. The number one streaming platform even created a montage video of TimTheTatman's greatest hits, including his first win at Fall Guys.

“It’s been great to see all that TimTheTatman has achieved since being partnered in 2012 on Twitch — whether it was marrying the love of his life and welcoming an heir to the Tatman throne, or the trials and tribulations of achieving his first Fall Guys crown,” said Twitch in a statement.

“It’s been a pleasure being part of Tim’s community, and we are proud of everything he has done for gaming.”

YouTube's latest acquisition might indicate that Google is aiming higher in stealing away Twitch's biggest stars. TimTheTatman was ranked 22nd on Twitch Tracker, well above DrLupo and Valkyrae. One wonders if Twitch would be as supportive if YouTube signs exclusive streaming deals with the likes of AuronPlay or TommyInnit.
