When you first step into Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, you will be dropped into the region of Snoring Valley. This area serves as a tutorial region where beginners can get used to the game and get a feel for it. At the end of this area is the first of many bosses in the game, Ribula.

Ribula is a skeleton sorcerer that is trying to awaken his master, the Dragon Lord, who has been sealed away for a long time. He can take you by surprise if you're not careful, so here is how you can defeat Ribula effectively in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Where To Find Ribula In Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

The cave door in Snoring Valley, where Ribula and his unawaken master lie

As previoulsy mentioned, Ribula can be found towards the end of the Snoring Valley region. You will have to make your way through a village that has been ransacked by skeletons and a cave where the Dragon Lord's tomb resides. As Ribula himself is a skeleton, you will be dealing with those kinds of enemies throughout the starting area of the Wonderlands.

These enemies are not too challenging to take on as this is the tutorial area, but ice damage (either from abilities or weapons) is particularly effective at handling them. Plus, it can slow enemies down and make them easier to hit. Along the way, Ribula will taunt you, crack a few jokes, and swear he will succeed in awakening his master — which is certainly not going to happen.

Before you get to the chamber where Ribula is located, there are some vendors you can resupply your ammo at and sell any gear you no longer need. It is highly recommended that you do so as you will need all the help you can get with this annoying skeleton wizard.

Beginning to fight Ribula as he taunts you

When you finally catch up to Ribula, he will have one big gray health bar since he is an undead enemy. Ice is especially great at taking him down as skeletons have a weakness for that damage type, meaning if you have an ice weapon or a class with ice abilities, like the Brr-zerker class, you will have a huge advantage against him.

Though if you don't have either, fear not as just about any damage type will suffice against Ribula. He moves extremely quickly and is capable of long-ranged magical spell attacksguns are your best bet for hitting Ribula from afar.

There are pillars nearby that can be used to cover yourself from these attacks and to recover your health.

As his health dwindles, other skeletons will begin to spawn. Take them out as needed, so you're not overwhelmed. In the event you get downed, you can kill one of them to give you a death save.

Keep doing this until Ribula's reaches zero, and he is effectively defeated. Unfortunately for you, he is successful in bringing back the Dragon Lord, but at least you score some solid loot, like the Borea's Breath legendary SMG.
