Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a jaunty adventure through a fantasy world of Tina's creation, and it has all the charm and wit we have come to expect from the mainline series. Along with the signature sense of humor, you still get a healthy dose of the difficulty the series is known for too. As a result, it's important to know how best to optimize your damage output, especially when taking on the Wonderlands alone.

For those who like to be up close and personal, for those who lack fear, for those who lack common sense and general regard for their own safety, the Brr-zerker class may be for you. However, playing the Brr-zerker role requires that you often jump into the fray, quite literally. Without the right stats to back up your build, you will essentially just be throwing yourself into a meat grinder over and over.

Updated on April 30, 2023: To help you make the best Brr-Zerker build in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, we've updated this guide for readability's sake.

What Is The Brr-Zerker?

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands - Brr-Zerker Announcement

The Brr-zerker class is a great choice for those who always want combat to be a breathtaking, fast-paced dance from enemy to enemy. The purpose of the Brr-zerker is to inflict Frost damage to enemies.

This status type not only slows down and freezes enemies, but also makes it so that they take three times the damage from melee weapons.

In order to be an effective Brr-zerker with no supporting team members, you must take full advantage of every stat and mechanic available to the class.

The Brr-zerker will be taking a lot of damage, but luckily, it has a passive ability that allows you to leech a small amount of health from each kill.

Best Hero Stats For Brr-Zerker

Hero Stats in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Hero Statsdetermine your overall damage, critical hit ratio, and health points. Basically, these are your core stats.

The Brr-zerker benefits mainly from three specific skill trees, these being Constitution, Strength, and Wisdom.

  • Constitution increases base health and ward capacity. These are important aspects for the Brr-zerker because they need to be able to sponge up lots of damage.
  • Strength determines how much damage your guns, spells, and melee weapons do. Obviously, a warrior is going to make very good use of this tree.
  • Wisdom increases the damage inflicted on enemies via status. For a build that revolves around inflicting Frost damage, the wisdom stat is critical.

You may also find some use in investing a few points into the Attunement tree, as this reduces the cooldown on active abilities, which the Brr-zerker can make great use of.

Best Active Ability For Brr-Zerker

Brr-zerker Active Abilities

The Brr-zerker has access to two different active abilities.

The first skill is called Dreadwind. This allows you to stick out your melee weapon and spin in a circle quickly. Not exactly graceful, but it certainly is effective.

This ability can deal decent damage and can afford you valuable space if you are being mobbed by enemies. Plus, if you can set up enough enemies with the freeze effect, you can knock them down like bowling pins. Satisfying.

That said, The Brr-zerker's second ability, Feral Surge, will probably be much more useful. Using the ability allows you to leap a short distance dealing a small explosion of Frost damage upon landing.

The great thing about this ability is that its cooldown will reset if the jump kills an enemy. This means that this ability is a triple threat. It can be used for quick movement in an emergency, it can inflict Frost status, and it can deal damage. Feral Surge is the clear choice between the two.

Feel free to try both out and experiment, as choosing one will not prevent you from switching to the other later.

Best Class Abilities For Brr-Zerker

Brr-zerker Passive Abilities in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Outside of the core Hero Stats, each class has a unique skill tree that unlocks powerful passive abilities. You get one point per level, and you will have to distribute them between this class and a sub-class, so you will have to make choices as to which ones you can max out.

The abilities you should max out in this tree are Ancestral Frost, Savagery, Ice Breaker, The Old Ways, Cold Snap, Unarmored Defense, Blood Frenzy, and Iron Squall.

You may notice that this is a much longer list than most other builds. This is because Brr-zerkers need more passive abilities in their own tree to buff themselves and be a standalone class.

  • Ancestral Frost will increase your Frost damage.
  • Savagery increases melee damage.
  • Ice Breaker lets you deal increased damage to all enemies that are slowed.
  • The Old Ways increases damage and damage negation the closer you are to enemies.
  • Cold Snap increases the efficiency of Frost.
  • Unarmored Defense saves a portion of the Ward in reserve and adds it to your total health.
  • Blood Frenzy makes it so that a kill streak restores a portion of your health.
  • Iron Squall raises attack speed and melee attack speed, and doubles this bonus as long as your character is enraged.

All of these skills working together will ensure that the Brr-zerker can deal out punishment, while still staying alive.

Best Secondary Class For Brr-Zerker

Stabbomancer Passive Abilities

In most cases, the best secondary class has a clear answer. However, the Brr-zerker is the most flexible of any class, as it can make very good use of any of the other classes.

Even so, there is a way to push this class's damage output even further, and melting down a powerful enemy can mean the difference between life and death.

If more damage is what you are looking for, look no further than the Stabbomancer class. Taking this as the sub-class will give your player a flat 30 percent increased critical hit chance.

Additionally, you can max out the Arsenal and Exploit Their Weakness traits in this tree. Arsenal gives a flat damage boost to all spell, gun, and melee damage.

Exploit Their Weakness makes it so that enemies under the effect of status take even more damage. It may not be as flashy as magic or summoning mushrooms, but it will get things dead fast.

Best Guns For Brr-Zerker

Liquid Cooling Pistol from Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Though this addition to the series is heavily inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, the Borderlands engine is still present. This means that each gun is randomly generated, and there are nearly an infinite number of possible guns to find.

As a result, it's difficult to direct you to a certain gun, as most have no reliable drop point.

The Liquid Cooling is a legendary pistol that can be collected from an obelisk in Crackmast Cove, though some soft resetting may be necessary.

The most reliable info we can offer you is to hoard guns with the Frost trait. Since you will often be up close and personal, submachine guns and shotguns will be your best friend on runs like this.

Best Gear To Grind For Brr-Zerker

Loot Drop in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Again, gear is randomized, but the Chaos Chamber basically guarantees drops of legendary items upon completion.

It's highly recommended that you farm this location for items, as you will have an armor slot, two ring slots, and a necklace slot to fill, all of which can provide powerful buffs.

  • Be on the lookout for armor that ups the power of Stabbomancer and Brr-zerker abilities.
  • Look for rings that increase Frost efficiency and critical hit chance or damage.
  • As far as spells go, Brr-zerkers get the most use of dark magic spells, because they refill health when they hit an enemy.
