Ports for two isometric Lara Croft games will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2022. This will mark the first time any title from the legendary Tomb Raider series will be available on the system.

The two ports in question are Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and its follow-up, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. The well-recieved titles are spin-offs that don't hold the official Tomb Raider brand as part of their names. Both are isometric action games with co-op stories and gameplay. This will make them perfect to play with a friend - if your Joy-Cons aren't buggered from drift, that is.

Guardian of Light launched back in 2010, and Temple of Osiris in 2014. Hopefully, these ports will spruce up the visuals and add some quality of life improvements, as a lot has changed in the gaming landscape this last decade.

If you just can't wait until next year for your fix of isometric Lara, you can still purchase these titles on Steam, PSN, and the Microsoft store. Tomb Raider games are on sale everywhere due to this year marking the 25th anniversary of the franchise.

And if you don't want to pay anything at all for a Tomb Raider game, Prime gaming has you covered. The November titles include Control Ultimate Edition, Dragon Age Inquisition, And Rise Of The Tomb Raider.

As well as game ports and great sales, a real-life Tomb Raider experience is debuting in London next year. Visitors will experience an "immersive adventure" alongside Lara herself. There will also be a calmer museum exhibition opening in Groningen, the Netherlands.

Hayley Atwell, Marvel's Agent Carter, will be voicing Lara Croft in Netflix's upcoming Tomb Raider amine. Reprising their role from the games will be the voice actor for Jonah, Earl Baylon. This TV outing will be written by Tasha Huo, who also penned The Witcher: Blood origin, so this series looks to be in good hands.

Despite all this great Tomb Raider content - fans of the series are really feasting this year - the next film won't be out for some time, according to the current iteration of silver screen Lara, Alicia Vikander.
