Torchlight 3 has officially left early access and is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. Nintendo Switch owners will have to wait a bit longer, however, as Echtra Games announced Torchlight 3 will be hitting the hybrid console on October 22.

Each platform gets its own exclusive Fairy pet to help assist you on your journey:

  • Steam: Violet Glittersprite
  • Xbox One: Verdant Glittersprite
  • PlayStation 4: Azure Glittersprite
  • Nintendo Switch: Ashen Glittersprite

Available for $39.99, Torchlight 3 follows in the footsteps of its ARPG successors. Early in development the title was intended to become Torchlight Frontiers, a free-to-play title heavily inspired by MMOs. Fans of the series were relieved to see Frontiers dropped in favor of a more traditional experience featuring four classes, five relics, and the usual assortment of loot and gear to collect. There's also a new Fort mechanic that allows you to share a bit of progress between characters on the same account.

"Torchlight III has arrived, and we at Echtra are beyond ecstatic for gamers to finally join the adventure," said Max Schaefer, CEO of Echtra Games and Torchlight franchise co-founder. "Development on this game has had its share of twists and turns, but we think the end result was well worth the wait."

That wait is over for everyone but Switch owners, who will need to hold out for a few more weeks until Torchlight 3 launches on October 22.
