In an open-world MMO like Tower of Fantasy, mounts are an essential part of exploring. Whether you’re collecting supply pods and treasure chests, farming cooking ingredients, meeting your friends to kill a world boss, or simply taking in some of Aida’s sights, a mount can help you move around faster and avoid getting stuck in unnecessary combat.

Vehicles in ToF don’t come with unique abilities, nor can you use them in combat - they’re simply a quicker way to get from point A to point B - but with eight options to choose from, you’re sure to find something you like. In this article, we’ll go over each vehicle and give you the rundown on how to acquire them.

8 Falcon

Tower of Fantasy Falcon motorbike

For most people, the Falcon motorcycle will be the first vehicle you acquire in Tower of Fantasy. All you need to do is play through chapter one of the main story until you’re sent to Hykros.

Once there, you’ll have to disarm some bombs for Franz, and he’ll be so pleased with your efforts that he’ll reward you with a gift—and that gift turns out to be this cool, futuristic motorbike. Unlocking the Falcon gives you access to the vehicle menu, where you can preview the game’s seven other mounts.

7 2613

Tower of Fantasy 2613 cube

This strange, cube-like structure is available to anyone who pre-registered to play Tower of Fantasy before the game’s actual release. It’s a bit odd-looking but fits in perfectly with ToF’s sci-fi/anime aesthetic.

To acquire 2613, all you need to do is play through the game’s introductory tutorial, and you’ll be awarded this square-shaped ride at the end. If you pre-registered for Tower of Fantasy but don’t have 2613, check if it’s hiding in your inventory. It’s easy to miss!

6 Chaser

Tower of Fantasy Chaser mount

The Chaser kind of resembles a vacuum cleaner, but it’s one of the more unique mounts in the game and has an appealing pink and teal color scheme. To obtain the chaser, you’ll need to find the Magnetic Rod and Maglev Stalker components first.

The Magnetic Rod can be found in a supply pod located to the northwest of the Omnium Tower in Astra, while the Maglev Stalker drops from Vermin Brother enemies in Banges. Vermin Brothers are most often found to the east of the Southern Ring Ranges in Astra, near Anchorville in Banges, patrolling the road to the east of Signal Station Ruins in Banges, and near Loen Dock in Banges.

5 Omnium Beast VII

Tower of Fantasy Omnium Beast VII two-legged mount

This Omnium Beast VII is a two-legged walking device that looks like a cross between a walker from Star Wars and a mech suit. To acquire it, you need to find three parts across the region of Banges.

The Cockpit comes from a hidden questline that starts in Navia Ecological Park, while the Left Arm is located inside a bunker at the H201 Shelter. The Right Arm is a rare drop of Behemoth enemies which spawn to the south of the H201 Shelter, to the northeast of Banges Farms, and in the Seventh Day Forest.

4 Voyager

Tower of Fantasy Voyager hover car

If you want the Voyager hover car, you’ll need to gather four components—a Thruster, Control Station, an Engine, and a Hull. To get your hands on these items, you’ll need to progress the main story until you can access the regions of Banges, Navia, and Crown.

You can get the Engine and Hull by completing the Hyenas Banges Quest and the Ecological Park Puzzle Quest. The Control Station comes from a supply pod that’s locked behind an energy shield to the Southwest of Area 4, and the Thruster is a random drop from one of the Four Powers enemies that spawn around Navia Bay.

3 Monocross

Tower of Fantasy Monocross mechanical unicorn

If you want to travel Aida atop a robotic unicorn, you might want to get your hands on the Monocross. This sci-fi steed can be assembled once you can access the Crown and Warrens regions of the world map and collect its Power Core, Bionic Frame, Cyberlimbs, and Head.

The head is a rare drop from the Devotee Eber or Devotee Noah enemies in Crown, and the Cyberlimbs come from a supply pod near Saag Passage in Warren. Getting the Power Core involves cooking, looting a Strange Residue to the west of the Transport Hub in Crown, and solving a puzzle for an NPC called Stoker, who’s located at the Miner’s Camp. Finally, the Bionic Frame can be looted from a supply pod near the Southern Naa Fjords Spacerift in Warren.

2 Dust Wheeler

Tower of Fantasy Dust Wheeler mount

The Dust Wheeler is the only mount in Tower of Fantasy that requires participation in PvP. To unlock it, you need to achieve the rank of Grand Marshall from the Apex League PvP mode. This mode puts you up against an evenly-matched player in an arena that gradually shrinks as the fight goes on. Grand Marshall is the highest possible rank you can obtain and requires achieving the five previous ranks, first.

To access Apex League, simply click on the Adventure menu, and then click Challenge. Each match has a time limit of five minutes, and if you lose, you’ll get a damage buff to improve your chances of winning the next one.

1 Mechbird

Tower of Fantasy Mechbird mechanical bird mount

The Mechbird is a mechanical pink flamingo that can only be acquired during the fourth week of the limited-time Road Strife Global Launch Event. The event isn’t active at the time of writing, but so far, we know that the mount requires four components, each of which will be a reward for getting 100 percent server completion during the event.
