This flashy trailer gives fans what they want: showcasing their favorite characters with their special abilities.

Nihon Falcom is continuing its 2013 title The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel into this action-packed 4th game in its series.

The developers announced yesterday the game that had been released in Japan in September of 2018 is finally releasing worldwide this fall on the PS4. Release for Nintendo Switch and PC is scheduled for 2021.

These heroes are searching for what happened in Heimdallr, but are the fans even prepared for what they are going to find?

We see the return of characters from Trails in the Sky, Trail from Zero, and Trails of Azure. Liberlian Bracer, Estelle Bright f(rom Trails in the Sky), is shown brandishing her Bo Staff called Wheel of Time. Next, we see Joshua Bright, from the same series as Estelle and the same guild, with his dual blades exclaiming that he will not falter again with his special ability of Phantom Ray. Renne Bright, foster sibling to Joshua, is seen with her magnificent Death Scythe, then next sipping tea while her special power is seen causing a ruckus in the background.

Followed by Renne is Agate Crosner, a Liberlian Bracer, holding his signature weapon, his greatsword. There's a reason he is called the Heavy Blade. Tita Russell, a Class IX student from the Thors Branch Campus joins the other characters with her Orbal Gear, directing an Omega Impuls. Lloyd Banningers, the leader of the Special Support Section, has appeared in previous entries of the Trails of Cold Steel, and he makes his return with his Tonfa, performing Rising Sun. Ellie MacDowell is also a part of the Special Support Section. She is the only character with small, gun-like weapon, known as an Orbal Gun.

Tio Palto, from the Epstein Foundation, with her cute cat-like headband and colorful blue hair is not so different than the next entry in appearance. Randolph Orlando (Randy for short) is a Thors Branch instructor who acts like the cool, older brother of the group. His weapon of choice is his Halberd. Last, but not least, Kea Bannagins, a Zero Child with a child-like appearance, is actually older than all of her companions combined.

What are these heroes expecting to find on this dangerous road? Fans are about to find out when this game releases this fall, if they haven't already played the Japanese version. The English dub will give worldwide fans something they've been waiting for: a conclusion.
