Streamers will be stoked to find out that Square Enix has released a new plug-in for Twitch that they can take advantage of when playing Life is Strange: True Colors. The plug-in is called Crowd Choice, and it allows for a crowd vote so streamers can receive aid from their audience when tackling the game’s most difficult decisions.

This Twitch extension is customizable for streamers, so they can either have the audience’s choices automatically implemented, or they can simply poll the viewers and still make the final call on the decision themselves. Life is Strange: True Colors is set to launch next Friday, September 10, but streamers can install this plug-in ahead of time in preparation for launch.

Considering Life is Strange is notorious for its thought-provoking and heart-wrenching choices, it’s smart of Square Enix to create this option for streamers, as it will almost surely improve their audience engagements, and potentially even up their number of viewers.

In other Life is Strange news, the TV show for the series is still happening after being announced all the way back in 2016. Singer-songwriter, Shawn Mendes, has just been added into the mix to guide the show’s musical movements. Despite not hearing much about the show for years, we are slowly but surely approaching its launch.

You can check out a preview of the game for a closer look at what you can expect next week when you pick it up yourself.
