Twitch is selling out.

Actually, they already sold out when Amazon bought them way back in 2014 for just shy of a billion dollars. Now they’re just pandering for their corporate overlords by hosting a shopping channel on Amazon Prime Day.

As horrendous as it may seem that a once proud game streaming network must do a song and dance for their capitalist masters, the good news is that it means there will be great deals available for anyone with a Twitch Prime subscription.

Starting July 15th at 10 AM PST and running for 12 hours (and then again on the 16th, which are the two days on which Prime Day is celebrated), /twitchpresents will host a very special broadcast. Called Twitch Sells Out: A Prime Day Special Event, the streaming channel-come-shopping network will showcase the latest and greatest deals on games, hardware, and apparel.

According to Twitch’s blog post, the special stream will be hosted by various Twitch personalities who will get a cut of the profits for whatever item they’re hocking. Advertised products will include games, peripherals, but also kitchenware and electronics--y’know, stuff that all gamers need.

There will also be “unseen” demos and gameplay of upcoming games, and you’ll be able to pre-order those games via Amazon too.

"We’ll even shine the spotlight on some of Prime Day’s more…unusual items for sale,” writes Twitch. “You’ll just have to tune in to see what we mean."

Of course, to take advantage of all these deals you’ll need a Twitch Prime subscription, which also nabs you an Amazon Prime subscription. That means free same-day shipping and deals on a ton of items.

The full list of which streamers will be participating will be released on July 10th. We know that EA will be taking part with some Apex Legends and EA Sports streams with some celebrities, but that’s all we got.

Also, promo code PRIME2019 will get you 30% off Twitch merch during the sale, while 10 or more cheers using the BleedPurple Cheermote will give your favorite affiliated or partnered Twitch streamer 10% more bonus Bits.

July 15th is only two weeks ago, so prepare to blow your hard-earned paycheque not even a week after the Steam Summer Sale.
