League of Legends fans will be looking forward to November 7, as Riot Games will launch Arcane, its show based on League of Legends, on Netflix. The show will focus on the city of Piltover where the greatest minds across Runeterra reside. The creation of hextech, a way to control magical energy, threatens the balance of all things.

While you may be excited about the premier, you'll be able to watch it along with your favourite streamer, as Riot has announced that the series premier will be available to co-stream exclusively on Twitch. Tuning into these co-streams will not only let you witness their reactions and commentary, but also get you exclusive in-game items for Riot’s games.

“Interest in deeper storytelling from our global player base played a big part in our decision to make Arcane, so it’s only right that they will be able to watch the first episode of Arcane together as a community," said Brandon Miao, Cross-Product Experiences and Partnerships Lead at Riot. "When designing the event, we wanted to blend traditional entertainment with innovative, digital-first approaches that increase access for players around the world, creating something new for people to enjoy together."

While Arcane will feature the backstories of some of the champions from League of Legends, a lot of it may not be canon as the series "is designed to stand on its own as a complex world filled with moral decisions, breathtaking animation, and suspenseful storytelling."

Last week we reported that Riot will collaborate with Secret Cinema to bring an immersive real-life League of Legends narrative experience exclusively to Los Angeles in November. In what will be Secret Cinema's first merger of video games and cinema, the interactive experience will feature various missions where you'll evade Piltover Enforcers and fight to survive in a journey through the Undercity. Every choice you make will impact how the story will unfold.

The company has in the past worked on equally ambitious projects featuring The Empire Strikes Back, Blade Runner, and even Stranger Things in 360-degree theaters.

So whether you're excited for the show, or your favourite streamer's take on it, Arcane will premiere on Netflix on November 7.
