Pokemon Go’s Season of Legends event is showing no signs of slowing down. The Searching For Legends portion of the event is underway right now, and you can find out more about it here, but as soon as it wraps up we’ll be on to the Charge Up event, the very first Pokemon Go event which focuses on electric-type Pokemon.
During this event you will be given your first ever chance of catching Pokemon like Tynamo and Mega Manectric, which should surely put a spark in your step. This event will feature new wild Pokemon, including Tynamo of course, in addition to event-exclusive Field Research tasks, exclusive Raid Pokemon, and much more. For all of the details you need to know, just read on below.
How Long Does The Charge Up Event Last?
The event will begin on March 16 and end on March 22, giving you a fair amount of time to catch Tynamo and more. Make sure to get out Pokemon hunting if you want those Raid exclusive creatures.

Research And Bonuses
During the Charge Up event you will of course get exclusive Field Research tasks which will reward you with Ampharos Mega Energy and Manectric Mega Energy, in addition to more electric-type encounters.
There will also be Timed Research focusing on evolving and powering up electric-types.
Finally, you’ll be given a much higher chance of receiving evolution items when opening gifts during the event. A nice bonus to cap things off. Though I’d rather a faster hatch rate…
