Despite being an excellent game all-round, Assassin's Creed Valhalla has its fair share of bugs and glitches. Most of them are fairly inconsequential, but then there are some which can stop players from earning achievements and even halt story progression. One of the most notorious glitches in Assassin's Creed Valhalla has fishing enthusiasts pulling their hair out. Fish on the coasts of England and Norway seemingly disappear even when undisturbed, stopping players from completing fishing quests and earning the "Good Catch" achievement/trophy.

Thankfully, it looks like Ubisoft is now aware of the problem that has been plaguing the community since the game's launch. The developer has recently updated its list of known issues with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, with this "disappearing fish" problem taking priority over everything else. The glitch appears in the "Issues Addressed In Future Update" section of the list, suggesting that this glitch will be fixed in AC Valhalla's next update.

There are a few popular workarounds to try and track down those elusive coastal fish. One such method is to travel to where the coasts meet the rivers as coastal fish will sometimes spawn there. Another is to cast your fishing line into the water where the fish would normally spawn and wait around ten minutes for fish to respawn. A third is to meditate and then quickly throw your fishing line into the water and hope you have good luck.

Ubisoft has also acknowledged a couple of other infamous glitches that have been annoying players in this list of known issues. One such glitch is the one that stops the final Order member from being revealed, stopping players from completely eliminating the Order of Ancients. There's also the glitch that stops players from moving the shelves in The Demon Odor at the Tithe mystery event. However, these are issues currently "Under Investigation" and are likely a ways off from being fixed.

This news comes shortly after Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed Valhalla's 1.1.1 Title Update in which the developers fixed numerous other bugs that have been irritating players. The update also added Ubisoft Connect achievements for players looking for something to do whilst waiting for some more substantial content like the game's DLC expansions which will be released later this year.
