Thanks to a bunch of leaks forcing Ubisoft into action, we know that the publisher is planning to reveal Assassin's Creed Mirage during the Ubisoft Forward showcase later this week. However, a new report from industry insider Tom Henderson has claimed that several other Assassin's Creed games will also be revealed during the event, the biggest being the first two installments of the rumored ongoing service title Assassin's Creed Infinity.In an article for Try Hard Guides, Henderson claims that these two titles are known internally as Project Red and Project Hexe and will be announced as parts of Assassin's Creed Infinity, the live-service title that will be the hub for Assassin's Creed experiences in the future. Project Red will allegedly take players to Japan while Project Hexe will take players to 16th Century Europe during the witch hunts.In a follow-up tweet from his professional Twitter account, Henderson explains that he's heard that the already revealed Assassin's Creed Mirage will launch in 2023. Project Red and Project Hexe will allegedly launch in 2024 and 2026 respectively, the latter having been pushed back from 2025. The reveal of these games during the upcoming Ubisoft Forward was also backed up by Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier in a separate tweet and article.
That's not all though, as the Assassin's Creed announcements set for this Saturday apparently don't stop there. Henderson also claims that a mobile title set in China codenamed Project Jade will be announced, as well as the final DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. He also claims that Ubisoft is working on a VR title for the series, but is unsure whether this will be announced during this week's event.
