Will we finally get to play around in Rabbids Land or maybe even visit Norfolk as a ninth century Viking? Ubisoft is still planning on creating a theme park five years after its original announcement.

Ubisoft is known for such critically acclaimed titles, such as Assassin's Creed, Just Dance, Rabbids, Far Cry and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game. However, someday soon, the company name may be synonymous with theme parks. Ubisoft originally announced plans to create a theme park in Malaysia in 2015, although it never came to fruition. But it seems like the wait was simply temporary, a partnership with Storyland Studios - a design and production firm based in California with staff ties to Walt Disney Imagineering - was recently announced.

According to Storyland, the project will also include Alterface - known for interactive dark rides, such as Justice League: Battle for Metropolis ride at Six Flags amusement parks - and The Bezark Company - a design studio who has worked with many companies, including Universal and Disney. Additionally, Jim Clark - who has decades of experience with Walt Disney Imagineering and has worked on projects at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland - was recently hired as an Executive Director at Storyland Studios.

Although not much information is known about the park itself, Storyland Studio hinted on their official Facebook page that more announcements will be made in November during the expo this November with IAAPA - International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, so be on the lookout this fall.

In other Ubisoft news, Assassin's Creed Odyssey recently got an upgrade with 60 FPS Option for Xbox Series X|S And PS5. Additionally, it appears we know who will be steering Ishimura for the new remake of Dead Space - Eric Baptizat, the game director on the Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Lastly, a new trailer for Far Cry 6 was released during Gamescon.
