Ubisoft is apparently gearing up to own 2020. The company just had a financial earnings report meeting, where higher-ups brief investors on where their money is going, and dropped some interesting hints in the process. One key piece of information is that Ubisoft plans to release three unannounced triple-A games within the next fiscal year. That means that, before April of 2020, we'll be seeing three potential hits from Ubisoft.

Financial reports like these are often made public, and are always something gaming media looks to for news. This time it was GameSpot that made us aware of Ubisoft's 2020 plans. They pointed out that, at the end of the Power Point-esque presentation slides, Ubisoft outlines potential sources of profit in 2020. The last item is "strong growth with 4 new AAA titles."

As we can see, the already-announced Ghost Recon Breakpoint is one of these four titles. The Gamespot article further quotes Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot as saying that each of the games are full-priced releases. So that means no surprise mobile or free-to-play battle royale games. Furthermore, Ubisoft called them "unique experiences" that are meant to take on different markets. With all this to consider, can we guess what these games are?

A new Assassin's Creed always seems imminent, and there are rumors about a viking-themed entry in the works. However, Ubisoft likes to make Assassin's Creed a holiday release, so even if it came in 2020 it wouldn't be in the spring. There is Watch Dogs 3, also the subject of new rumors.

On the less beloved but still profitable front, Just Dance is a strong brand for Ubisoft. There's no reason to think another one of those isn't in development. There's also old favorites like Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia waiting their turn. Although those could infringe on the territory of the other Tom Clancy games and Assassin's Creed.

There's also the possibility, and we can only hope, of a new Rayman game. Especially if a certain rumor proves true and the limbless hero is added to Super Smash Bros.

Whatever this mystery trio of games is, we're bound to see at least one revealed in a few weeks at E3.
