Vampire: The Masquerade - Night Road is adding five new clans as DLC in March, including the Nosferatu, Lasombra, Ravnos, Hecata, and Ministry.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Night Road is an interactive novel, in the same vein as the old Fighting Fantasy/Choose Your Own Adventure books. The player takes on the role of a courier for the undead. The vampires are currently hunted by an organization known as the Second Inquisition, and the use of communication technology has become strictly forbidden. As such, couriers and messengers are now in high demand, as they must perform dangerous missions on a nightly basis for their patrons.

The base version of Vampire: The Masquerade lets the player choose their clan from five options (Brujah, Banu Haqim, Gangrel, Toreador, and Ventrue), with another two sold separately as DLC (Caitiff and Tremere). A news update on the official World of Darkness YouTube channel has revealed that five more clans are coming to the game as paid DLC in March.

The five clans include the Ravnos, which were recently introduced in the Vampire: The Masquerade Companion. Ravnos are daredevils and tricksters, with the ability to conjure illusions. The Hecata is made up of remnants of several other clans (the Giovanni, the Samedi, the Cappadocians, among others) for mutual protection, as they are all worshipers of death. The members of clan Lasombra have the ability to control shadow matter itself. The Lasombra have already had the main role in a visual novel, as Vampire: The Masquerade - Shadows of New York starred a member of the wicked clan. The Ministry (formerly known as the Followers of Set) are members of a religious cult who worship one of the Antediluvians. Clan Nosferatu are transformed into hideous monsters upon their Embrace, and it will be interesting to see how Night Road handles their appearance in-game. Night Road will also introduce Oblivion alongside the Hecata and Lasombra clans, as it's one of their three main disciplines.

There is currently no word regarding a price for these clans, but they're expected to arrive in March.
