Leysha has had a hard time in Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong. She’s been memory killed by her daughter, became her daughter’s Childe, had her memory wiped multiple times, been told her daughter is fake, and, to top it all off, has been exploited for almost 100 years. It all ends now though. It’s time to end this.
This chapter has one very simple goal - save Halsey. Similar to Emem, Leysha’s challenge is timed. Also like Emem’s Chapter, the timer is so generous it’s almost impossible to fail. Halsey is 10-minutes away from being incinerated, and it’s your job to solve the puzzle that’s preventing you from rescuing her - simple.
Where To Find The Blue Security Card
In order to save Halsey, you need to unlock the keypad that is required to shut down the incinerator. To do this, you need to find the blue security card. The game will try and trick you by planting red and green ones, but rest assured, they are all useless. Blue is the way to go.
This can be found in the drawer of the desk near Halsey’s incinerator. Take this card, go to the keypad, and unlock it.
What Is The Code To The Incinerator
This part is purposefully trial and error. The game wants to make you sweat. You need to find the correct PIN to stop the incineration process and to do this, you need to go to the desk that is hidden away in the far left-hand corner of Halsey’s chamber.
In the right-hand drawer, which can be opened using low-level security, you can find a document that details all the PINs for each of the incineration chambers. The problem is, you don’t know which chamber is Halsey’s since the exact number has been covered up.
The only clue you have is that it is a T6 model, and the first number is nine. You can work through the list to nab the code (grab a notebook), or you can just punch in: 260296.
How To Unlock The Locked Drawer
If you don’t have the Security investment or a lockpick, then you will need to find the key. This is pretty simple. Just head to the opposite end of the room - towards a dead S.A.D soldier. To the left of this soldier is a dead scientist. Search his body to grab the key.
How To Open The Incineration Chamber
Once you have the blue security key, and the PIN, you may have noticed that the Scene is still going. If you wait long enough, the incineration process will start up again. This is because there is one last thing you need to do.
In front of Halsey’s chamber is a working PC. It is not locked, so just interact with it. Provided you have turned off the countdown, you can press the big button on the bottom of the screen to open the chamber and free Halsey.
How To Win Every Confrontation With Halsey
Whilst you are solving the puzzle, Halsey will be questioning where you have been her entire life, and why she should believe a word you say. If you want to live happily ever after, you need to win all of these Confrontations.
Confrontation One
- “Richard lied to us.”
Confrontation Two
- “You’ve got to trust Mommy, Juliette.”
Confrontation Three
- “To find you.”
- “They made me believe you had been destroyed.”
What Happens If You Fail To Save Halsey In Time
If you fail to save Halsey in time, then she gets destroyed. This will have a serious impact on Leysha’s ending. Try not to burn the miniature vampire if you can help it.
