First announced back in September 2019, the Video Game Entertainment & News Network (VENN) will be launching its on-air beta phase this coming August 5th. VENN has already set up 20 plus hours of original programming for its gaming, streaming, esports, and pop culture entertainment network, which it plans to air on a constant 24/7 broadcast schedule.

VENN will beta launch its programming live initially from Los Angeles, with more from its New York studio at Three World Trade Center following at a later date. The VENN Twitter feed has become increasingly active as of late, with announcements presenting the shows it has lined up, along with show hosts and other on-air talents who have been booked so far.

Founded by Ariel Horn and Ben Kusin, VENN will be focused on providing gaming, esports, and pop culture entertainment to viewers across all the major platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. The two founders have combined their years of gaming and media experience and teamed with an array of quality geek and pop culture celebrities for numerous shows and exclusive content. And even better, VENN promises all its programming will be free, with no paywalls, and no downloads.

A starter list of shows and their hosts have already been announced on the VENN Twitter channel. James "Dash" Patterson will be hosting VENN Arcade Live, featuring “guest appearances, live performances, interactive gameplay with your favorite gamers, streamers, celebrities, athletes, musicians and rising stars.” Dare Package, a show described as “dropping loot crates filled with extreme mystery challenges”, will be hosted by @AustinOnTwitter.

“What adventure would you choose if you had access to the ultimate streaming space?” Host Chrissy Costanza will answer that question on her show Guest House. YouTube superstar @CashNastyGaming will host Looking for Gains, a show that meshes fitness, gaming, and pop culture. And the Sushi Dragon Show will be hosted by none other than (you guessed it) @TheSushiDragon.

VENN says more announcements will be made soon in the lead up to the launch date. Plug into the VENN website, along with their Twitter, Discord, Facebook, and Instagram channels, to catch more news as its released.
