By now most all gamers are aware that new games often come with glitches and bugs that will need to be patched at some point. Graphical errors, game-breaking bugs, and exploits are all to be expected, and the Call of Duty franchise is certainly no exception.
With the launch of the latest title in the Call of Duty series; Call of Duty: WW2, which was released on November 3rd, 2017, players have already uncovered all of the above mentioned types of glitches. In the multiplayer element of the game, players strive to earn the maximum amount of experience points in order to ‘prestige’ over and over and the practice of using glitches to earn XP faster is a controversial method for doing so. Whether it is in the traditional multiplayer match scenarios with players on each team duking it out, or in the zombie mode where players work together to fight off hordes of the undead, as the game exists right now there are several ways to exploit various glitches to earn a higher rate of XP.
Another type of glitch that players have discovered involves mistakes with the way the graphics are presented to the player. These usually are easily fixed but can take time for the developers to understand and correct. Disappearing textures or entire portions of the gameplay map, or worse glitches that make the enemy invisible to the player are a few of the glitches that have been identified so far. Along with these, there are a few popular animation glitches that allow players to perform ridiculous maneuvers.
