Warframe's Zariman tileset features three new game modes and a new enemy type: Void Angels. These warped Orokin act as bosses with multiple stages and deadly attacks. As with any boss in Warframe, they also come with unique drops.
Dormant Void Angels are your only source of Voidplume Pinions in the game—a currency needed to craft Incarnon weapons and progress The Holdfast Syndicate. Unlike typical Angels, dormant variants must be found. This guide will cover how Dormant Void Angels work and all of their spawn locations aboard the Zariman.
What Are Dormant Void Angels?
Dormant Void Angels are optional boss fights that spawn in all Zariman missions. Each mission is guaranteed to spawn one Dormant Void Angel, although they're quite hard to find; Angels are not marked on your HUD or minimap unless you're completing an Angel-related bounty, and they tend to spawn in the corners of large tiles.
Defeating Dormant Void Angels is important for progressing The Holdfasts Syndicate, as they drop Voidplume Pinions on death. This resource is needed to reach certain ranks with The Holdfasts, and it's used in crafting all Incarnon weapons. Give our Voidplume farming guide a look for more information on why farming Dormant Void Angels is something you should consider.
If you're planning on farming Dormant Void Angels, bring a Nekros. Desecrate can give you additional Voidplume Pinions and Arcane drops.
Dormant Void Angel Spawn Locations
There are 12 tiles aboard the Zariman where a Void Angel can spawn. All of these tiles are spacious and have a corresponding Captura scene. To keep this guide consistent with in-game terminology, the names of each tile will be using their Captura scene names. Expandable images are listed under each subsection to clarify which tile we're referring to.
Agrizone
All Angels spawn on the bottom-most floor of the Agrizone, lying dormant above the water. You'll find most of the Angel spawns in the center of the tile.
Albrecht Park
Angels spawn next to the park's Orokin statue near the very center of the tile. Run around the platform housing the statue to find it.
Amphitheatre
Angels spawn either on or behind the theatre's stage. The warped mass of metal and Void behind the stage is where the Angel is most likely to spawn.
Angel Roost
Angel Roost has the same layout as the Zariman hub area. Angels tend to spawn near the diagonal slabs of vegetation near one end of the room, typically next to a Data Cache. Keep an eye near the edges of this room if you don't find the Angel there.
Brig
Brig refers to the circular room with a mass of Void metal hanging from the ceiling at the center of the room. The corners atop the second floor each house an Angel spawn location, located right next to each exit door.
Cargo Bay
In the room filled with cargo containers, run to the side that clearly shows the Zariman skybox. The Angel always spawns there.
Docking Bay
The docking bay is a massive hangar filled with small ships. Head to the very end of the docking bay (side closest to the skybox). The Angel typically spawns near a docked ship.
Habitation
Angels spawn on the lower floor beside the sloped stairs. Run down to the lower floor and look in the opposite direction of the statue. The Angel will be resting in the corner of the room beside an Orokin tree.
Hall Of Legems
Head up the stairs to the top floor of the room. The Angel always spawns to the right of the Orokin statue.
Lunaro Court
Run to the end of the Lunaro court that faces the skybox. The Angel always spawns on that end of the room.
Schoolyard
On the top-most platforms overlooking the obstacle course, head to either pillar supporting the room. The Angel will spawn next to one of the pillars.
Serenity Levels
Serenity Levels is the spacious tile with a dead tree at the center, not the statue tile. You'll find the Dormant Void Angel a short distance away from the tree on the raised walkway.
