Loadouts have finally returned to Warzone 2. A fan-favorite feature from Warzone 1 (now known as Warzone Caldera), loadout drops gave players access to completed armaments without the need to scrounge around for weapons and equipment--assuming you could pay for the loadout, that is. Loadouts were conspicuously absent from Warzone 2.0, but with today’s update, loadouts have returned to buy stations in Al Mazrah."Have a holly, jolly #Warzone2, it’s the best time of the year," sang Raven Software to the tune of Holly Jolly Christmas. Loadout drop grenade are available at buy stations for $8,000 in solos, $16,000 in duos, $24,000 in trios, and $32,000 in quads. This might seem like a lot, and indeed, fans are debating the prices in the Warzone 2 subreddit, but with yesterday's reduction in weapon prices at buy stations from $5,000 to $2,500, the loadouts seem largely fair. Keep in mind that loadouts come fully equipped with upgrades and perks. Just scrounge up enough cash, toss the loadout grenade, and wait for your loadout to float down from the heavens like a Christmas gift dropped by Jolly Old Saint Nic. There aren’t any chimneys in Al Mazrah, after all.
While loadouts are here for now, they might not be forever. Raven warned players that "the continuity of this feature will depend on feedback we receive and overall impact on the Battle Royale experience in #Warzone2." So if you like the new loadout grenades, do be sure to let Raven Software know.
What fans definitely aren't liking is the "Dev Error 11557" bug that's popped up for some players. Developer Infinity Ward said in a Twitter post a few days ago this is likely due to a corrupted file and that the easiest way to solve the issue is to re-download all 200 GB of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
