Call of Duty: Warzone has recently decided to replace the normal Quads mode with Realism Battle Royale, which also includes teams of four.

Realism mode changes the entire game of Warzone. Increasing headshot damage and limiting the HUD. This is extremely similar to the Hardcore modes that have been presented in multiplayer. Players will also only be able to see teammates if they open their map.

Quads has been the most popular game mode since launch. Allowing more players to play with their friends instead of limiting to a party of three.

Infinity Ward has been trying to shake up the game modes to keep things fresh. This has not been the most favored way of doing things for fans. Many fans took to social media to address their distress with the change. With many stating that now they would have to kick their fourth player or leave people out.

With the release of season 4 Call of Duty replaced the popular game mode Plunder with Warzone Rumble. This change did not sit well with fans. The mode was later added back into the game with the title, Blood Money. This is a common trend among Call of Duty games with trends and changes either being accepted or rejected.

Currently, the only way to play with three other friends is in Realism Battle Royale, until the next set of changes happen, or the modes rotate. With the trend that is occurring the mode will more than likely be swapped out if enough fans reject it.

There have also been recent rumors that suggest there will be a 200 player Battle Royale mode. The developers have been addressing the many bugs and balancing issues with every update and change.
