Infinity Ward has temporarily removed all vehicles from Warzone due to a bug that causes everyone's game to end.

Gone are the days when a transaction between a gamer and a developer would come to an end once that gamer had left the store. Nowadays, most games are still a work in-progress even as people are playing them. Even more so for free-to-play titles such as Fortnite and Apex Legends. The games are constantly changing, and also need to be fixed on a very regular basis.

Infinity Ward has been attempting to get to grips with that ever since it launched Call of Duty: Warzone earlier this year. There have been a number of bugs and glitches, all with varying effects on the game and some that have been harder to quash than others. However, this latest one might have had the biggest effect to date.

The glitch occurs when a player uses a vehicle out of bounds. It stops the warning timer and a few seconds later, the game crashes and the match comes to an end. Not just for the player in the out of bounds vehicle, but for everyone. That is obviously less than ideal for some very obvious reasons. IW has reacted by rolling out a temporary update that has removed all vehicles from Warzone.

There's no word yet on exactly how temporary the update will be, and as is often the case with this kind of thing, it has not gone down well with its players. Verdansk is a big place, and getting around it on foot isn't ideal. However, what is less than ideal is matches coming to an end due to a glitch.

For the most part, this has been happening accidentally. A player ends up in a vehicle out of bounds and the bug takes hold. However, there will be some players who just want to ruin everyone's good time and will drive a vehicle out of bounds on purpose. Fingers crossed this is one of the Warzone glitches IW can fix fast, and not one that continues to return.
