Title Update 4.5 For Watch Dogs Legion was originally supposed to bring 60 FPS performance mode to the PS5 and Xbox Series X in May. However, a blog post by Ubisoft has now confirmed that the update will come out on June 1.

According to the developer, the postponement of the update was to, “make sure that the different teams working on separate pieces of content have the time they need to create the best game experiences possible.”

The post mentions that this extra time will give the team space to fix the issues and bugs that came along with Title Update 4.0, as well as incorporate some quality of life changes to the game. You’ll also have the ability to play with your friends across generations of the same console family.

With this reshuffle, the upcoming Invasion and Extraction PVP modes for Watch Dogs: Legion have been pushed to August. The team wanted to make sure that the PvP experience is as smooth as possible, especially when it comes to public and private matchmaking.

Lastly, Ubisoft mentioned that the Bloodline Story DLC will arrive with Title Update 5.0. The DLC will bring with it iconic franchise characters Aiden Pearce and Wrench, who can also be used in the campaign storyline. No date has been given for the release of Title Update 5.0 as of yet.

The 60 FPS performance mode was the most asked-for feature since the game’s console launch. It already featured raytracing, but players were unhappy being stuck at 30 FPS. The 60 FPS update was announced via a Reddit AMA last month, but players were left wondering when they’d finally see it, considering the numerous delays associated with Watch Dogs: Legion.

Update 4.0 made a number of changes, fixes, and added some fun little features. The Operative Deep Profiling feature allows you to get in-depth information on your operatives. It also allowed you to interact with this information in the game; for instance, you could figure out relations and plan a family reunion as well.

The update also cleaned up the operative bios to make them simpler to read, and not hidden under a pile of menus. A Friends Only option was also added to the co-op mode.
