The developers have been busy all week leading up to the release of update 3 and can now rest easy as patch 13.01 is live in Monster Hunter World. There is a lot of content for players to unpack including new monsters, an increased level up for master rank armor, new items, charms, and several bug fixes.
For starters, both the Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang have been added to the game and have their own unique special assignments. Speaking to the Tracker following the completion of the Recon Assignment after the ending of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Determined Hunters will be able to craft themselves new weapons and armor from the Raging Brachydios material.
The same conditions are set for the Furious Rajang, including speaking to the Tracker and all new weapons and armor, though this may be the more popular choice since players can craft Palico equipment with a monkey motif.
Finally, apart from having a high-level cap for master rank armor upgrades, players can now use an augmentation feature that allows for cosmetic customization of their weapon. An item has also been added that forces a monster to leave the Guilding Lands.
