Logan Paul has made more than just a ripple in the YouTube community. He’s done so much more, and he shouldn’t be proud.

Logan Paul is a 22-year-old YouTube content creator who vlogs every day of his life. He has over 15 million subscribers and he’s gained them in only a bit more than a year and a half. He’s the only YouTuber who has grown his channel in that short of a time EVER. No one has ever been able to amass such a strong audience that sticks by every action he does, right or wrong. In light of his recent controversies, we thought it would be appropriate to have a list of everything crazy that he’s done in the community that keeps on supporting him, despite him being a very toxic individual.

From the pranks he pulls on his very young audience to overall being just a public disturbance, his companies, himself, and his friends continue to perpetuate this idea that these exaggerated personalities are accepted and glorified as cool when in reality it’s childish. That’s not our opinion, it’s the opinion of the mainstream.

This list is aimed to capture all of Logan Paul’s dark secrets, his controversial problems he’s brought to the internet and real life, and of course the shameful actions he’s done towards his fans and haters alike. Let us know what controversies or dark secrets you think belong on this list!

30 The Video That Shook The World

Via Polygon

You knew this one was coming. Logan Paul flew out to Japan to film in the Aokigahara forest, which has a reputation. He framed this video in a way that made it seem like he was bringing awareness to this sensitive subject. But the whole video was filled with him making jokes and overall making a complete profit off of someone’s darkest moment. It was really disrespectful to the person involved. He actually published this video proudly.

He even showed it in the thumbnail.

A recent tweet from the actress Sophie Turner said this:

“@LoganPaul You’re an idiot. You’re not raising awareness. You’re mocking. I can’t believe how self-praising your “apology” is. You don’t deserve the success (views) you have. I pray to God you never have to experience anything like that man did.”

29 Pretending Like He's Clueless

via: twitter.com

Because of the above controversy and many other times he’s been asked to conduct interviews on video, he seems to always come off like he's a little clueless. It’s almost as if he forgets that he is the one who has chosen to film, edit, and publish the content he gets in trouble for. He makes statements to the media that makes him look like the haters are mistreating him. As if he's the one that’s the victim. Some who come to defend this kind of behavior might argue that he’s trying to change. Even though that might be the case, the best way to change is to come forward, admit you were wrong, and set a better example for the young audience he has. If he doesn’t do this, it just sets an awful precedent for the future of society.

28 Want To Be Cool? Buy My Sweatshirt!

via: twitter.com

His clothing brand Maverick is a movement that Logan Paul has started. It’s become so much more than just a clothing store, though. It’s become his brand. This would normally be fine, but he's well aware that his audience is young and impressionable. It just doesn’t sit well with many people that in almost every video (or music video) he pushes his merch. He always advertises his merch in a way that makes it seem like if you support his store, you’re apart of his family.

Or should we say #Logang?

Anyone who is out there hustling their business, good for them, but many people think Logan should tone it down a bit. He's got a very impressional audience, and they shouldn't be made to think that you need an overpriced hoodie to be a cool kid.

27 It's All About The Views, Baby

Via Polygon

One of the biggest reasons why many people dislike Logan Paul is because he does anything for views. Whether it’s disrespecting a mental illness or flat out throwing Poké Balls at Japanese people in the streets who were minding their own business, he doesn't care. Logan Paul will be right there doing anything for a shock or a laugh. He is a menace to society, he has crossed the line too many times.

There’s nothing wrong with being entertaining, and sometimes even shock comedy can be great if it’s done in the right way. But when it gets to the extent that Logan's stuff has, it’s pushed too far. Normally people wouldn’t care. Because that’s his choice, right? But when he goes out on the street and throws plushies at people and disrespects a culture right in front of everyone, it affects other people. That’s crossing the line.

26 He Just Doesn't Care About Culture

via: twitter.com

His whole Japan trip was a mess. Not only did he film that extremely insensitive video, but he also made a video with his friends running around the streets of Japan being obnoxious. They were bothering people on the street that were just trying to mind their own business. At one point, he got a ton of Poké Ball plushies and went around throwing them at people.

Not only does this disrespect the culture, but it shows that he doesn’t care.

Many who go to Japan know that the culture is very mindful of other people. Society there prides itself on being aware of the comfort of others and minding their own business. Unfortunately, Logan Paul did everything in his power to fight against that standard. In addition to this, tweets have been uncovered from years ago, showing him making racist jokes at the expense of Asian individuals.

25 Looking Down On Other Races

via: gizmodo.com

Yes, he does. Just like we mentioned above, he’s been known to make some very racist tweets. When he was in Japan, he ran through the streets in a very stereotypical kimono. He mentioned that Japan is like a real-life cartoon, and overall just talked down to people. Logan stole food that was sitting out in markets, and he also broke a Game Boy in the street just to try to get a refund from the seller who sold it to him. He even hitched rides on trucks and trolleys, and put market fish on them when he was done shoving them in people's faces. Let’s just say that the trip he took to Japan was just one example of how he looks down on other people’s culture on many levels. He kept mentioning "respect," but calling Japan a "cartoon."

24 The Crowd Problem

via: youtube.com

Both Logan and his brother Jake Paul (also a YouTuber) have had problems. For example, Logan Paul went to VidCon uninvited. He placed a large sum of money somewhere on the grounds, tweeted out he had done this, then created a massive mob of people trying to search for it. Not only was this extremely dangerous, but he basically endangered the safety of the event.

He ruined a fun time for everyone.

If you watch any of his vlogs, you can clearly see that when he goes out in public, he's overly loud and obnoxious. He ruins people’s days by making employees clean up after him, and makes people the butt of his jokes. None of it is funny, and it affects the people around him to an extent it never should.

23 Raising Them To Be Copycats

Via Instagram

Overall, Logan is directly setting an example for his extremely young audience. His audience is primarily kids and teens, and this kind of content is something they see every single day. Yes, he vlogs every day. They think it’s cool, they want to be like him, and then they end up doing the same things as him. This can put them, and others, in danger if they aren’t careful. This kind of mentality is so toxic. It has been making so many individuals scared for the future generations. They are the future, and when it comes to the point that they will back Logan Paul over anything he does, even if it’s racist and disrespectful, the world needs to realize there's a problem. Hopefully, before it’s too late, people will realize how bad this situation really is.

22 Fooled You!

via: youtube.com

In addition to the problems that have stemmed from the Japan videos he filmed, including the one from the forest, did you know he actually pulled a prank on children? He showed himself get blasted with a shotgun in his house.

It was a prank, it was fake, but it looked so real.

Basically, he was upstairs in his house waving to young fans down outside of his house on the sidewalk. Then suddenly he falls forward and pretends to pass away. A person is seen with a gun. The look on those kids' faces were heartbroken, shocked, scared, and terrified. Whether or not it was all fake or not, this is extremely messed up. It's such an awful example for the people watching his videos and supporting him, as well as the kids saw that and thought it was real.

21 The Diss Track Issue

via: youtube.com

Logan Paul pretends to have fake beef with people just to up his view count. He fights with everyone from his brother to Ricegum. His feuds always wind up making him millions, bringing in millions of views and making everyone involved successful. It’s no wonder they set this stuff up, making elaborate diss tracks to rap badly over some lame beat and telling each other how much money they have.

This kind of toxic behavior is going to ruin any kind of peaceful future we might have had a chance with. This kind of content is so toxic for young kids. All they see is that if you have money and materialistic things, you’re important and entitled to say that you’re better than someone else. This kind of mindset has already been seen when talking about young kids who have started to make videos in the same exact style Logan and Jake Paul do.

20 We're All In This Together

Via Nymag

We mentioned this briefly above: Logan Paul markets his merch every chance he gets. He plays it off like if you buy his merch, you get it, you’re cool, and you’re part of the family. This kind of mindset is extremely bad.

It makes kids feel like they need to buy his merch just to be able to support him as a person.

When you manipulate your young audience to think that they need material things to be cool and be a part of the family... You should be honest and let them know that buying merch is just an option to support Logan Paul and what he creates. It’s very messed up. Kids shouldn’t be taught that you need to buy something in order to be successful. He knows the majority of his supporters are children using their parent’s credit card.

19 All Taking And No Giving

Via tmz

Up until recently, we haven’t heard much about what Logan Paul does to give back, other than when it makes him look good and he can bring it up every chance he gets. Basically, every time he does something good, he has to put it in a video for views and to show people he’s a good person. For example, he was meeting a young sick girl for her Make A Wish. The next day he exploited that in a diss track. He probably had it all planned out. He only did the Make A Wish opportunity to be able to put it in his song the next day. Not only has he done this, but he’s also donated over a million dollars to prevention charities, but only after he profited off of someone else's passing in Japan.

18 He Can Do No Wrong (According To His Dad)

via: youtube.com

After all of the drama with the Japan situation, his family, more so his father took to social media to defend his son. His own father DEFENDED his actions in Japan. This father went on to make comments that called people who are hating on him for this situation just jealous haters. His own family doesn’t even see the problems Logan Paul is putting out into the world.

This kind of behavior is seriously damaging.

It shouldn’t be allowed to continue without some kind of intervention. A family member needs to tell Logan the truth so he can finally make the choice to grow as an adult. No one should support their child like that, especially with something as serious as this. Many people believe that a parent should step up to tell their child when they are in the wrong, no matter how much they love him.

17 He's Toxic (Or At Least His Comedy Is)

Via Tumblr

Logan Paul aims to shock the viewer when they watch his videos. We understand this kind of comedy can be entertaining. It’s crazy to see someone do something out of the norm and wild, especially when it’s every single day when they’re vlogging. But Logan Paul does a great job of pushing it too far. He was arrested in Italy for extreme pranks. Logan happened to fly a drone over the Coliseum, which was obtained by the Italian Military. He was arrested shortly after. While this might not have directly endangered someone, these kinds of actions make other children who watch his videos think that it’s okay to try the same crazy stuff he does on a daily basis.

16 He Earns Around 14 Million Somehow

Via ABC News

Even though he earns that amount of money and he can do whatever he wants with it, it’s odd that he doesn’t give back. Many people understand that if you earn and work for your money, you can do anything you want with it.

But he has continued to just show off his extremely lavish lifestyle.

He has no regard to how that can send the wrong message to kids. People can spend whatever they want on whatever they feel like they want in their life, as long as it doesn’t hurt other people. But his extreme materialistic mindset is making kids believe that if you have a Tesla and a Rolex, you’re set, you’ve made it, and you’re cool. Logan Paul has started giving back more, but like we’ve mentioned, it seems like he’s only doing it because he wants attention.

15 Brothers Or Rivals?

Via Getty Images

Logan Paul and Jake Paul have a known rivalry. It’s been assumed that this is very fake drama and that their beef with each other is just for views. While that might be the case, is that really a great example? It apparently all started when one of them released a diss track towards the other, under the guise of wanting to just have some fun. It got out of hand and kept going back and forth. Logan Paul invited Jake Paul’s ex-girlfriend to the diss track music video and kissed her on camera. Even if every single thing about this is fake, it sets an awful example for the kids watching his content every day. It just shows that he doesn’t know what he’s doing, and the example he should be setting for his young audience.

14 The Ringleader

Via YouTube

Even though they have this huge beef with each other, Logan Paul and Jake Paul both encourage each other to make the fighting worse! They go back and forth with their fights to the point that people actually believe it’s real. In a recent video of Logan Paul’s parents reacting to his year in review, his father almost let it slip that the beef between Logan and Jake Paul is fake.

This caught a lot of people’s attention.

Hopefully that is enough to squash the beef between the two of them so they can act like normal people. Why create drama just because? Why set that kind of awful example, just because you both want more views on your videos? Imagine a world where they could just both get along together and create content that wasn’t toxic and showcasing hatred.

13 Regretting Hiring Him

Via YouTube

Logan Paul has so many brand deals, but they’re all quickly regretting their decisions. He's been listed in the industry as toxic and many people have found sales plummeting quicker than they can drop him from their company. He will completely destroy any brand he is a part of due to his reputation. There’s no reason for a company to be that desperate!

Even though he has made major success on YouTube, his reputation is horrible enough that no one wants to work with him. According to Adage.com: "Brands need to do more research into these influencers," says Delmundo CEO Nick Cicero. "There are more people to keep track of than ever before, and it's harder to do quality control. So you have to do the research to make sure some YouTube kid won't put your brand in a bad light."

12 The Worst Kind Of Humor

Via YouTube

Logan Paul sadly has a history of making tasteless jokes. When he recently took his controversial trip to Japan, he showcased some seriously disrespectful behavior towards the people of that country. This made people uncover some racist tweets from around 2012. He's belittled them by calling them adjectives that promote stereotypes.

He goes out of his way to make comments about race when it’s not needed.

\Logan needs to instead spend some time educating himself when it comes to what is socially correct and what isn’t. He is plain disrespectful when it comes to this, among all the other crap he pulls. We hope that he learns something from this recent controversy he is in.

11 He Doesn't Believe In Equality

Via nme.com

Since we’re on the topic of all those disrespectful tweets he’s made, it doesn’t just stop there. He’s also made sure to include anti-gay comments as well. They’re obnoxious and overall very worrying. Many people tried to defend this by saying they he just wasn’t educated. But these tweets weren’t all from 2012. Some were as recently as 2014. A lot can change, and people change over time. Just because he made those comments then doesn’t mean he believes in that stuff now. But at the same time, why would you be so hateful for no reason and post that online? Hopefully, in the light of recent events, he realizes what he did was wrong and that he needs to learn from his mistakes quickly. This kind of behavior should never be accepted in any way. No excuses!
