Video game developer Cyanide Studio and publisher Nacon recently debuted a series of three faux advertisements for the in-game company Endron International, the fictional corporation and worldwide nemesis of the Garou in the upcoming video game Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood. All three ads can be viewed on the Nacon YouTube channel.

The ads and accompanying press release are artfully and expertly crafted as though they come directly from an actual real-life corporation, giving them a believable yet hauntingly eerie tone, especially if you’re familiar with the World of Darkness and Werewolf: The Apocalypse mythos. The three video ads are officially titled simply as Endron™ Fake Ad Trailer, Endron Ad #2, and Endron Ad #3.

But before those are briefly previewed, some non-spoiler context is needed, particularly if you’re new to the Werewolf: The Apocalypse tribe. To intro, Endron International is a global corporation focused on siphoning Earth’s oil and gas by any and every means possible, no matter the consequences or destruction it causes. Publicly, it proclaims it is helping to bring about a global ‘green revolution’ and mending the errors made by its parent company, Pentex. During a couple of scenes in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood Cinematic Trailer, a facility security guard can be seen with Endron on their uniform, and the Endron logo is shown on a large bay door where the trailer’s main action takes place.

If you watched that cinematic trailer and were wondering ‘what’s Endron?’, these three new video adverts are designed to give you a bit of that part of the Earthblood story, at least from Endron’s point of view. In the first Fake Ad Trailer, the narrator answers the question, “Who is Endron?” with a brief description of the corp’s history, then proceeds to spew out multiple propaganda accounts of its worldwide "accomplishments." There’s even a chilling statement eluding to Endron’s plans to finally begin consuming the natural resources of the Amazon and the Arctic. Endron Ad #2 follows up the first with support for its false doctrines, stating specifically that “because life is abundant.” everyone should be thankful the company is here to bring to you the bounty of the planet’s resources, which it claims are “unlimited.”

Endron Ad #3 gets a deal more realistic, and more to the theme and plot you’ll be experiencing in Earthblood. The fake ad is portrayed as a confidential document, only meant for internal distribution, and shows ‘eco-warrior terrorists’ attacking and destroying Endron property. The narrator then leads into a debriefing of the “cutting-edge weaponry” the company is now arming its security teams with, and is spoken with dialogue to make it seem as if the info is being directed at newly-recruited security agents. The narrator strikes home the point with the statement, “To do nothing is to be against Endron, against humanity.”

These three videos are an excellent and refreshing way to draw your attention to the upcoming Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, currently scheduled to claw its way into our world on February 4, 2021.
