A brief teaser trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood has been released in the run-up to PDXCON 2019, where new information about the game is due to be revealed.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is an upcoming action RPG where the player takes on the role of an eco-terrorist werewolf. The player character will be able to switch between their wolf form and hybrid form, both of which have their own unique abilities. One of the most important mechanics that need to be managed in Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is rage, as the player will become stronger when they lose control, but they will be unable to spare innocent lives once they have succumbed to their anger. Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is based on a tabletop game called Werewolf: The Apocalypse, which is part of the World of Darkness franchise that also contains the setting for Vampire: The Masquerade.

The fans won't have to wait long to hear more about Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, as Bigben Games has uploaded a teaser trailer to YouTube. The trailer shows a werewolf turning toward the camera and ends with a message saying that more information will be revealed at PDXCON, which is due to take place from October 18 to 20.

The fact that Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is releasing in the same year as Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has led to speculation that the games will be connected, as the villainous Pentex corporation from the former is run by vampires from the latter. It's possible that Paradox Interactive is testing the waters for a World of Darkness video game universe and is using the conflict between werewolves and vampires as a staging ground for other titles to come in the future.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood was shown during E3 2019 and it was well-received by those who had a chance to experience it. The fans won't have to wait long for more information about the game, as the fact that it's being displayed at PDXCON 2019 suggests that either a significant gameplay trailer or a solid release date will be revealed at the event.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is due to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2020.
