CD Projekt Red and Netflix today announced WitcherCon – a new event dedicated to all things Witcher. WitcherCon will feature panels with people behind the franchise and will provide a behind-the-scenes look at both the games and Netflix series.

“We teamed up with [Netflix] to bring the world of The Witcher into your homes,” announced CD Projekt Red. “Power up your megascopes on July 9 and join us for an epic online celebration of the franchise.”

Announced with a poster featuring both Geralts – that is, video game and Netflix versions – we're hoping the event will bring us new details for both the TV series and the long-running game. CD Projekt Red and Netflix said more info will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for details.

For now, here's what we know about WitcherCon:

  • Deep dives into the making of The Witcher games, live-action series, and anime.
  • Interactive panels featuring the people behind the games and Netflix series.
  • Never-before-seen reveals from across the franchise.

CD Projekt Red also announced that a new game will not be announced during WitcherCon.

The news came during the final day of Geeked Week, which also gave us a sneak peek at season two of The Witcher Netflix series. That clip was just as mysterious as the WitcherCon announcement – but we’re excited to learn more in the days leading up to the inaugural event.

Check out the official WitcherCon website to see everything we know about the event so far.
