Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the latest venture by Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja, serving as a follow-up title to Nioh 2. Wo Long is a Souls-like action RPG set during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. The game uses historical figures and moments, taking some significant liberties with these people and places,
Wo Long spins the tale of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms into a battle against Demons and a Taoist spreading an Elixir across the land, corrupting all it comes into contact with. Combat is timing-based, and it leans into you parrying attacks. As you might expect from the developers of Nioh, they throw a ton of RPG elements, equipment, and weapons at you to play around with.
