As Wonder Woman hits the big screen, movie inspired skins make their way to Injustice 2 in “To End All Wars” multiverse event.

It’s been two weeks since the release of Injustice 2, and critical reception is already hailing it as one of the best fighting games ever made. With Wonder Woman coming to theaters on June 2 it’s only natural that the DC Universe game have a tie-in to coincide with the movie’s release, and this one’s an event not to miss.

Starting now and running until June 5 is the multiverse event “To End All Wars.” As reward for completing the event, players receive a Wonder Woman themed set of gear to be used in game. For those not in the know, multiverse is a gameplay mode that allows players to jump to different versions of Earth in the extended DC universe. The Wonder Woman movie Earth is number 6217, just to give you an idea of how big the extended universe actually is.

The event requires players to use Wonder Woman as their character while they go through various AI opponents of escalating difficulty and level. The final fight is naturally against Wonder Woman’s arch nemesis: Cheetah. At level 20, she’s a difficult AI foe to be sure, but even if you haven’t player Wonder Woman at all since launch your earlier fights should have brought your experience up to make her a beatable opponent.

As reward for your victory you will be bestowed the “Fabled Heroine of Themyscira” set with some movie inspired items. There’s the Tiara of Divine Tragedy, Diana's Theatrical Chestplate, the Bracers of Rising Action, the Smash Hit Boots, and the Blockbuster Falchion. The item stats themselves seem a little lackluster, but wearing some or all of the gear will give set bonuses. At 2/5 you get plus 100 strength, at 3/5 your Amalthea Bash Meter Burn can now trigger an arena transition, and with the full set you get another 200 defense.

There’s also an event for the mobile version of Injustice 2 where players can acquire Wonder Woman cards based on the movie as well as the character's full gear set.

Wonder Woman hits theaters this weekend so be sure to get your tickets early.
