The gaming world is busy with a lot of exciting news at the moment. A lot of it surrounds Blizzard, the gaming company behind the MMO juggernaut World of WarcraftThere's not only an expansion incoming for the retail version of the game, Shadowlands, but Phase 6 is about to unroll on the Classic servers.

Originally, the dates for both of these events were months apart. The expansion was scheduled for October, and the patch for Phase 6 expected on December 1st. With the recent delay of the release of Shadowlands, however, players are getting both only days apart.

World of Warcraft fans might be feeling overwhelmed with the amount of data coming at them from both sides, so a condensed list of the new BiS gear from Naxxramas might be helpful. The infamous last raid that was added to vanilla WoW, this is where the most coveted Phase 6 gear can be found, either as a drop from a boss or rewards from quests. Make sure the Argent Dawn faction thinks well of the raid before venturing into the throne room of Kel'Thuzad.

10 Wraithblade - Caster DPS

Mages and Warlocks will be rolling on this shiny dagger, which drops from the boss Maexxna in Naxxramus. It not only gives a caster a healthy +95 to their spell power but also a nice 1% bonus to both spell hit and spell crit. Combine this with the new sets, trinkets, and offhand weapons available in Phase 6 and it's finally time to reach that hit cap.

9 Dreadnaught Set - Warriors

The Dreadnaught Set doesn't drop from bosses but is acquired through grinding rep, finishing quests, and gathering the materials. This is similar to the items from previous raids like Zul'Gurub and Ahn'Qiraj. The players start by taking a quest from an NPC in Light's Hope Chapel to kill bosses in Naxxramus. These bosses drop certain pieces, which are then exchanged for the armor set as part of completing the quests.

8 Hammer of the Twisting Nether - Healers

This weapon is BiS for any healing class, and it's easy to see why. At first glance, it's the +238 bonus to healing that stands out, but there's also the bonus to mana regeneration to consider. Get ready to roll against Druids, Shamans, Paladins, and Priests for this item.

This is one of the tougher items in Phase 6 to acquire. Not only do players have to roll against several other classes to get it, but it drops from the last boss of Naxxramus, the fearsome Kel'Thuzad.

7 Cryptfiend Silk Cloak - Tanks

Equip the Cryptyfiend Silk Cloak and get a bonus to defense, hit chance, and dodge ability. Tanks of all classes will be seeking this item, which drops from Anub'Rekhan in Naxxranus. Although this looks like a boss that would appear in Ahn'Qiraj, this is actually the first boss in the Spider Wing. He's also one of the bosses who also drops the "Desecrated" items that players trade-in for the Phase 6 sets.

6 Bonescythe Set - Rogues

Before a Rogue heads into Naxxramus, they need to stop by Light's Hope Chapel and get this quest first, so they can loot the special Desecrated items and return them. The set is equally good for both sword and dagger rogues, with bouses to most Rogue abilities and favoring neither weapon. It's best to equip the whole set if possible to stack the hit and crit bonuses for each item.

5 Plagueheart Set - Warlocks

Finally, Warlocks can get out of the Bloodvine Set and into Phase 6 with the Plagueheart Set. This doesn't drop from a boss but is another upgrade from the quests available at Light's Hope Chapel.

Warlocks have an advantage here, as this whole Phase 6 set isn't required for BiS as it is with some other classes. Four pieces, specifically the head, shoulders, chest piece, and sandals are sufficient.

4 Vestments of Faith - Holy Priest

This is also a new set that players obtain as part of the new raid quests available at Light's Hope Chapel. Every piece includes bonuses for both mana regeneration and healing spell power. To fill out the BiS requirements, Priests should equip every piece of the set with the exception of the belt. C'Thun drops a better one in Phase 5.

3 Slayer's Crest - Melee DPS

Here's something nice for the Rogues, DPS Warriors, and other classes that do physical damage. This cool looking trinket gives a +64 bonus to a player's attack power just as an equipped item and using its special ability grants an additional +260. With a cooldown of only 2 minutes, it's possible to use this more than once for each boss fight.

2 Cryptstalker Set - Hunters

Finally, something nice just for our Hunter friends. Best get to the Plaguelands and start grinding some reputation since most of the Hunter BiS slots for phase 6 come from this set. Players should equip all eight pieces to fill out the list.

Light's Hope Chapel is where players can find the NPC that can start them on these quests. Hunters should equip the full set to check off all the BiS boxes for Phase 6.

1 Sappiron's Left Eye - Caster DPS

Not only does this item look totally badass, but it also gives a bonus to spell power, critical strike, and spell hit rating. Pair this up with the Wraithblade and it's no wonder both items are on the BiS list for spellcasters. Sappiron, the second to last boss of Naxxramus, waits outside of Kel'Thuzad's lair to drop this precious offhand.
