This time around adjustments have been made to ensure that the event doesn't cause quite the same level of game breaking devastation as last time, but you'll still need to be on your toes. The Zombie Plague world event is sure to bring back a bunch of memories for Lich King players, so here's what you'll need to do to get rid of this cursed debuff.

What Is The Zombie Plague Debuff?

"You're Infected!" is a ten-minute debuff that infects you with a zombie virus. If you become infected with the Zombie Plague, you will need to seek out an Argent Healer in any major city to remove it. Failing that, then a Paladin or Priest with the power to cure can also set you free.

If you fail to locate a remedy in the allotted time, you will transform into a zombie, which will give you the ability to infect others around Azeroth with the same virus. Once you've turned the only way to remove the debuff is to die and then resurrect from the nearest graveyard.

How You Get Infected With Zombie Plague

There are two ways to get lumbered with the Zombie Plague debuff: Infected players, or NPCs. Of course, being a zombie virus, the most likely carrier would be an actual zombie, which can be found in countless locations around Azeroth and its surrounding portals. Players are most likely to infect you and cities are a hotbed of people wanting to pass on their curse to others.

If you do happen to get infected with the "You're Infected!" debuff, then you'll have just ten minutes to cure it. Failing to cure it will, of course, result in you becoming a zombie.

Where To Find Healers

The good news is, removing the debuff isn't all that difficult. That is, providing you know where to look and how to reach the necessary Healers before the virus claims your soul.

Fortunately, though, Argent Healers can be found in every major city, meaning a simple click of your Hearthstone can quickly transport you to your nearest trader. If this isn't a viable option, then a Paladin or Priest with the ability to cure can also banish the debuff. Healer alts will be invaluable during this time.

For Alliance players, Argent Healers can be found in both Stormwind City and Ironforge. Horde players can scout one out in either Orgrimmar or Undercity. If you just so happen to be passing through neutral territory, then you can also find one in Light's Hope Chapel and Shattrath City.
