While the majority of Xbox and Bethesda's showcase will remain a mystery up until its air date, there have been a few rumors that give us some insight as to what will and won't appear. One big title that will allegedly appear is Bethesda's open-world sci-fi game Starfield, being one of the highlights of the showcase. It's expected that there will be gameplay shown, but you will have to wait until 2022 before it releases.

As for what won't be there, both Elden Ring and Hellblade 2 are reportedly going to be skipping E3 this year. Both of these rumors come from industry insider Jeff Grubb who is confident that both games simply won't be shown. It's alleged that Hellblade 2 is skipping E3 due to Microsoft's caution surrounding the amount of CG trailers it will be showing. In regards to Elden Ring, Grubb is also "doubtful that it's going to be at E3."

In case you missed the news, this year's E3 is going to be all-digital, with fan registration set to open on June 3rd. There will be several large publishers attending including Sega, Square Enix, and Bandai Namco, as well as Activision. Both Sony and EA will be skipping E3 this year in favor of hosting their own showcases later in the year.
