Microsoft has announced an all-digital Xbox FanFest 2020 event with sign-ups starting next week. Participants can register for the event on Monday, October 12 at 6 PM PT. According to Microsoft, more information about the all-digital event, which will be hosted at the Amway Center in Orlando on November 9, will be shared in the next few hours.

“The fans have asked for it and we’re delivering”, Microsoft wrote on its website. “Xbox FanFest is now a combination of exclusive physical and digital events, content, sweepstakes, merch, and more! We are excited to allow more fans the ability to participate with the Xbox community. By registering for Xbox FanFest, you unlock exclusives across Xbox hosted events, promotions, and curated online experiences hosted just for you."

Event registrants will also have access to exclusive Xbox official gear and first access opportunities. They can also participate in sweepstakes, FanFest events, and promotions, as well as earn 100 Microsoft Rewards points. Additional points can also be earned during the event. Although many activities will be free during the Xbox FanFest 2020, some will require a ticket.

To sign up as an Xbox FanFest fan, registrants must be 18 years of age or older and have an existing Xbox profile. Those without a profile can set one up using their existing Microsoft account. Once registered, participants can view upcoming activities and opt-in offers. They will also receive email updates on exclusive details only available to Xbox FanFest members.

In the past, Xbox FanFest has been held via in-person events all over the globe and access was limited. The virtual event, meanwhile, will allow millions of Xbox fans to participate. Xbox FanFest is expected to provide further insight into the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S, which will be launching globally on November 10, as well as games like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Gears Tactics, and Cyberpunk 2077.

In addition, new game reveals and updates from Xbox Game Studios are expected to be announced at the event, and according to online rumors, EA will announce a new licensed game, codenamed "Olivia."
