Microsoft is rumored to announce three all-new IPs at this year’s E3.

We have some idea of what Microsoft has in store for us, thanks to earlier leaks indicating that the Xbox corporation plans on resurrecting more of its older IPs to flesh out its exclusive games line up. Fable is one such game rumored to get dusted off and put into a new game, with MechAssault being another.

Gears of War 5 has already been confirmed to be in development, as is Halo Infinite. We’ll probably get a sneak peek at the next generation of Xbox console, as well as Microsoft’s xCloud service. Game Pass for PC is most likely on the docket too.

Now a new report from Thurrott says that sources within the company are pointing to three brand new, never before seen IPs to also be debuted at this year’s E3.

We have absolutely ZERO information on these new IPs. All we know is that someone within the company has the magic number three and they’ll all be on display at E3 in some fashion. We don’t know what developers are making the games, we don’t know what genres these games might be, and we don’t even know if any of them are anywhere close to completing development.

We do know that Microsoft has been on a spending spree, gobbling up studios left and right with an eye towards both indie teams and big blockbuster game makers, so these games could be literally anything.

Thurrott also confirmed several other aspects of Microsoft’s E3 presentation, including new DLC for State of Decay 2, Forza Horizon 4’s second expansion, a new Halo Infinite trailer and gameplay, Age of Empires information, as well as details on the new Fable game.

Those waiting for an update on the PC version of the Master Chief Collection will be disappointed to hear that development isn’t going very smoothly and the expected time frame for a closed beta test has been pushed back by several months. 343 Industries really wants to ensure the remade Halo Reach is well received on PC and is taking the extra time to make sure the game is done right.

All will be revealed at Microsoft’s E3 presentation next week, so stay tuned.
