Phil Spencer must be a busy guy these days. The Xbox Series X arrives in just over a week, and the head of Xbox is spending the last 8 days getting everyone ready for a livestreamed extravaganza that will hopefully impress people enough to buy Microsoft’s next-gen console.

"On November 10, we invite you, players of all identities and backgrounds, console generations and devices, skill sets and tastes, to celebrate, connect, and play together,” Spencer wrote on the Xbox website. “We invite you to grab your device of choice and play alongside Team Xbox, your favorite creators, and our partners, right from your homes around the world."

Although you won’t need an Xbox Series X to take part in the celebration (a good thing, considering how hard it might be to get one), it would certainly help with Microsoft’s theme of “playing together.” The livestream Xbox Series X launch will include livestreamed let’s plays from content creators, “behind the scenes” looks at game development from studios of launch titles, and presentations from Microsoft and Xbox studio heads.

The shindig starts at 11 AM PST, 2 EST on November 11 on Xbox's YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook Gaming channels. Be sure to book that day off if you plan on actually spending the day gaming with everyone over at Microsoft.
